Sanctified: Has to be Cameron Jerome. Leading from the front for Norwich City and bullying the Boro defence the whole game.

Chris Osborn: Andy Thomson, Gillingham's hero in 2000 after the heartbreak of the Man City final in 1999 - best play-off final ever.

Sam Watson: My play-off hero? Daniel Nardiello for Barnsley, superb game against Swansea in 2006 in their own backyard at the Millenium Stadium.

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Blackpool's reduced group of supporters (plenty of big fans boycotting in protest at the club ownership) breathe a sigh of relief as Sam Slocombe gobbled up a corner.

Exeter just throwing a few digs at Blackpool now, mainly from distance as the defensive line is proving tight.

Exactly. Time to step up, Exeter.

The rain here at Wembley has abated and the jackets are off for both managers - they mean business.

With all six substitutions made, we know it's down to the 22 players on the hallowed turf to see their side through.

Don't expect Exeter to go long in desperation though, it's not really their style.

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Buccaneering run by Blackpool centre-back Will Ainson, who almost suffered a nosebleed as he ran out of ideas in Exeter territory.

Big intervention at the other end cuts out a cross for a corner. Phew. Lungbuster.

    Bright Osayi-SamuelImage source, PA

Blackpool frustrate Exeter and then strike when they are out of position, with Bright Osayi-Samuel once again involved.

I am assuming he's had a dream where he curls a shot into top right corner to win it and is determined to see it come true. That's twice now he's skied one.

Meanwhile a flicker of danger for Blackpool keeper Sam Slocombe as the ball swings into the box and is headed just wide by the Grecians. Inside the final EIGHT minutes. Plus stoppages.

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Ryan Harley revs through the middle of the park (been waiting to use that one) and Exeter get the ball wide.

Reuben Reid is found in the box but his shot fizzles wide. Close but no cigar.

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Blackpool are using Bright Osayi-Samuel (can I get that on a hot-key please? It's time consuming to type...) as a major outlet on the right.

It's testing Exeter almost as much as my touchtyping skills.

Meanwhile, Lee Holmes swung a cross almost in from the left-hand side but just over the top. Goal kick for Blackpool and time ticks by.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 75 mins

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

    Mark CullenImage source, PA

Exeter not happy that Brad Potts is stretching when a throw-in is waiting to be taken.

Meanwhile, Blackpool's possible hero Mark Cullen gets a well earned break as Jordan Flores comes on.

Nah, he's not Spanish, he's from Wigan.

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Bright Osayi-Samuel just dances down the left hand side, albeit with sledgehammer power, before cutting back for Neil Danns who misses the chance to finish it off by smashing over the bar.

Exeter pour forward, Blackpool hit them on the break and win a corner...

    Big 17 minutes to go.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Winger Lee Holmes comes on for full-back Craig Woodman.

Exeter have been trying to thread the eye of the needle and Holmes' left foot will bring them a bit of quality.

Lewis Edwards: Robert Zamora and Ricardo Vaz Te. Most important goals in my lifetime supporting West Ham.

Ian Fearn: Not many Wycombe fans will forget Dave Carroll's brace in 1994, won 4-2 against Preston from 2-1 down.

Russ Gardner: Got to be Alex Smithies, one of our own. Winning penalty 8-7 v Sheffield Utd in 2012... Would settle for same tomorrow #wagnerevolution

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

Blackpool under siege on the back of the goal as Exeter press.

Lloyd James got a shot away from the edge of the box which was blocked, and subsequent attempts to get the ball wide floundered eventually as Ollie Watkins was called offside.

  14. Cullen and Potts combine againpublished at 65 mins

    Blackpool 2-1 Exeter

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Leicester striker, BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley

It's a fantastic break from midfield, Potts has looked to do that time and time again.

He gets inside of the defender, shoots for goal, and there's a little deflection straight into Cullen's path.

Cullen does what all good centre forwards do, he controls the finish into the far corner.

Those two were instrumental in the first goal, and they were instrumental in the second goal.

GOAL - Blackpool 2-1 Exeterpublished at 64 mins

    Mark Cullen

    Mark CullenImage source, PA

Is that the goal that clinches it for Blackpool?! We've still got a while to go, but it's key.

Brad Potts was teed up for his goal by Mark Cullen, and returned the favour for the striker for Blackpool's second.

The ball forward was flicked down neatly by Kyle Vassell for Potts to latch onto, and his teasing ball across the six-yard box was nudged into the net by the stretching Cullen.

Big goal from the Ashington lad, Northumbria will be bouncing.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Blackpool 1-1 Exeter

Ian Black - formerly of Hearts - comes on for Jack Payne. Can he continue that quarterback-style passing from deep?

He was part of the Hearts side that beat fierce rivals Hibs 5-1 in the 2012 Scottish Cup final at Hampden.

Katie McMillan: Paul Dickov and Nicky Weaver! Still get shivers watching that game 18 years later

Jonny Slater: Beckford once again. What a performance that was. 4-0 as well

Wayne Andrews: As a Luton Town fan, I have NO happy memories of play-offs, thank you

Rodney Marshall: John Frain's sublime, injury-time free-kick to take us (Northampton) past Jan Molby's Swansea.

I'm a Forest fan, Wayne. Know how you feel.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 58 mins

    Blackpool 1-1 Exeter

Reuben Reid has come on for Joel Grant, as Exeter alter their attacking options.

There's a forced change as well, as defender Troy Brown departs and Pierce Sweeney enters the fray.

One change left for Paul Tisdale.

Both managers have emerged for this second half sporting coats - yes, it's getting a bit chilly on that touchline.

This final still has the potential to be special, but was disrupted by regular injury stoppages before the break.

If the game starts to flow, I predict action.
