    It's a quirk of the fixture list that Blackpool and Exeter shall finish the 2016-17 League Two season as they started it, facing each other but this time on the grandest stage of all - Wembley.

    The Seasiders delivered the Grecians some summertime blues that afternoon, winning 2-0 with Kyle Vassell scoring before Troy Brown's own goal settled it.

    Reuben Reid's last-minute leveller rescued a point for Exeter when Blackpool made the journey south in February, securing a 2-2 draw to complete a comeback from 2-0 down.
