It's a quirk of the fixture list that Blackpool and Exeter shall finish the 2016-17 League Two season as they started it, facing each other but this time on the grandest stage of all - Wembley.

The Seasiders delivered the Grecians some summertime blues that afternoon, winning 2-0 with Kyle Vassell scoring before Troy Brown's own goal settled it.

Reuben Reid's last-minute leveller rescued a point for Exeter when Blackpool made the journey south in February, securing a 2-2 draw to complete a comeback from 2-0 down.

Whether your heart lies among the golden sands, lapping waves and donkey rides of Blackpool's Pleasure Beach or the Roman artefacts, cobbled streets and clotted cream teas of Exeter, the focus on this afternoon's League Two play-off final at Wembley will be equally as partisan.
