Slovakia have given away some silly free-kicks today and there's another. Just stops any momentum. England replace John Swift with Demarai Gray.

    Into the final 10.

England coach Gareth Southgate and his assistant Steve Holland are watching on in Kielce.

Aidy Boothroyd is taking on a lot of liquid refreshment to help ease his nerves - as are the players in this stoppage of play.

    It's very, very tense.....

Tammy Abraham is not having much joy today. Nathan Redmond looks to play him on the break again, he goes down in a crumpled heap but the referee is having none of it. That brings an angry reaction from the crowd and Slovakia captain Adam Srelak.

Replays show that Branislav Ninaj did catch Abraham. Not a full-on elbow, but an arm in the face.

James Ward-Prowse must never have been closer to a place in the centre of England's midfield. The options are not exactly massive for Gareth Southgate.

The sapping Polish heat is, er, sapping both sides now. They look very tired indeed as John Swift tests Adrian Chovan from long range.

Fair play to Andy - who at 1-0 down called out a 3-1 win for the boys in blue....

andy: Just the 1 goal needed then...

Christophe Talbotski: Ward-Prowse and Redmond. 2 players who can, should, and hopefully will progress to the full international setup

Into the final 20 minutes. Can England hold on for just a second win in 11 games at these finals since 2009?

There's loads of space for England now on the break. It's wide open. John Swift wastes a really good chance though, moving into the area with men over but losing it in a tackle.

Good play again from Jacob Murphy, who may be playing his way into a career at full-back here. He frees Nathan Redmond, who looks up and again can't find Tammy Abraham. Who is having a rather thankless task up front so far in the tournament.

That's silenced the Slovakian support. For the first time you can actually hear the England fans.

England showed character coming from behind and will now need to be resilient.

The heat could be a factor and Slovakia still look strong with Lobotka in midfield.

Jacob Murphy is doing a job at right-back for England since coming on and he has a moment of panic, blocking a cross with his hand! England have got away with one there...

Alfie Mawson clears well as England repel a cross from the left. They can't afford to sit back and dwell on this lead. Game of the tournament so far?

    Nathan Redmond

England have turned it around! Nathan Redmond strikes but there have to be huge question marks for the Slovakian defence!

James Ward-Prowse looks up in the centre-circle and pings a ball to the left, where England have three men in on goal! Bizarre defending.

Redmond picks it up, cuts into the box and hits a shot which takes a slight deflection on its way into the far corner. He scored in the 2015 tournament as well.

England have rather gone back into their shells since the goal. Slovakia now looking lively again. Reset button pressed.

Slovakia now with a spell of pressure, ending with Matus Bero shooting wide from 20 yards. The initiative is there to be seized.

England goalscorer Alfie Mawson did a great interview recently with (I think) the Guardian by the way. All about car boot sales. Better than it sounds - check it out.

England have made a change and there seems to be a change of direction.

They were not good enough and this remains a real test for these young players.

It was a scruffy leveller but James Ward-Prowse yesterday talked about a lucky break. England need to seize the initiative now.

England play hosts Poland in the final game in the group on Thursday evening. If they can find a second goal now that game could be very interesting.

World champions Germany beat Australia in Sochi to record their first Confederations Cup win for 12 years.

The Socceroos were 3-1 down when Tomi Juric's goal was allowed to stand despite a suspected handball after a review by the video assistant referee.

Lars Stindl had put Germany ahead before Celtic's Tom Rogic equalised.

Julian Draxler's penalty made it 2-1 after Leon Goretzka was bundled over by QPR's Massimo Luongo before Goretzka scored the third.

England's first goal of the tournament and it could be a big one. It's a tester for Slovakia mentally too. They were all set for a half of backs-to-the-wall defending. Now they may have to reset.

Good move again, down the left this time and Lewis Baker is into the area. Can he find Tammy Abraham in the middle?

    Cleared!

    Alfie Mawson

England level! For once they deliver a good cross and it counts. A corner is flapped at, it comes out wide, Jacob Murphy sends over a good ball and while Calum Chambers misses it, team-mate Alfie Mawson doesn't.

His shot is saved by Adrian Chovan, but he can only palm it out and Mawson follows in to convert, stabbing home from two yards.
