How quickly the Under-20 win has become a very distant memory.

Kalle Kula: Why oh why are England so utterly worthless at international football?? The @FA, external really need to think hard about this.

Bouncing and boisterous before - the large Slovakian support are even more buoyant as Martin Chrien left Mason Holgate and Ben Chilwell to head in from a corner.

England need to keep their heads here. Captain James Ward-Prowse flies into a tackle, studs showing, and he's booked. He's incredulous but red cards have been shown for less.

    Very, very fair Henry.

England force a corner of their own almost instantly. A cauldron of noise now inside the Kielce Stadium. Lewis Baker tries from 25 yards and it's a good, clean hit but always heading over.

    Martin Chrien

It's not his fault of course but a £30m pricetag around his neck means that Jordan Pickford will be scrutinised for every goal he concedes. And he's beaten fairly easily.

Albert Rusnak whips a corner in to the near post, Martin Chrien peels away from Mason Holgate and sends a header high over PIckford and into the net.

Tough to evaluate the opening 20 minutes from England. A bright start, but not much to report other than a couple of long-range efforts.

Remember, how could you forget? England need a win.

Matus Bero was booked after catching Nathaniel Chalobah late. The Slovakian midfielder was aggrieved the referee didn't spot Chalobah leading with his arm in an aerial challenge.

No defensive scares for England yet but Aidy Boothroyd's side are not making an impression in the final third.

England work the ball well but then waste the chance to cross as Nathan Redmond runs it out of play. Frustrating stuff.

It's a bit niggly out there. Slovakia don't mind leaving a foot in as one or two hefty challenges come in. Mason Holgate wastes a good chance to cross in again from right-back, the Everton man shanking it out for a goal kick. We saw that on Friday on plenty of occasions.

Matus Bero is the first man in the book for chopping down Nathaniel Chalobah. A touch of retribution there as he was angry at not being given an earlier free-kick.

James Ward-Prowse whips the free-kick in but it's well headed clear.

England seeing plenty of the ball, this tweak in shape is a hit so far. But can they threaten the goal? That was the issue on Friday. Nathaniel Chalobah shoots well wide before Mason Holgate hits a swerving cross/shot which forces Adrian Chovan into an unorthodox save.

The diamond put the onus on full-backs Ben Chilwell and Mason Holgate to get forwards for England. On Friday too often their delivery from out wide was very poor.

It's very early days but there already seems more attacking threat from England with Nathan Redmond particularly lively so far.

England seem to be playing a diamond in midfield with Nathaniel Chalobah at the base, James Ward-Prowse and Lewis Baker in the middle and John Swift at the tip.

England have a shot on target! They only had one in the whole game on Friday! Drink it in.

Good move too, Nathan Redmond finds John Swift, who engineers a yard of space and then hits a shot from an angle but it's straight at Adrian Chovan.
