  1. Silva in the housepublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Leicester 0-0 Chelsea

There's a lot of debate still about what's going to happen with Adrien Silva - the midfielder who missed the transfer deadline by 14 seconds.

Well, he's in the stands to watch Leicester and he's just seen Jamie Vardy snake a low shot just past the far corner.

'Everton need to be aware'published at 15:25 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Everton 0-0 Tottenham

    Leon Osman
Ex-Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Tottenham are looking very solid at the moment.

Everton's front three are playing very narrow. Harry Kane and Dele Alli are being left two v two on times at the back.

They need to be aware of that.

    Southampton 0-0 Watford

First real opportunity for Watford with 25 minutes on the clock as Jose Holebas bends a free-kick just wide. That was our first shot on goal as well. Not a classic so far.

  4. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Brighton 0-0 West Brom

Encouraging football by Brighton and they are looking the side most likely to score at the moment. Ben Foster is made to work once again in the Baggies' goal as he holds an Anthony Knockaert strike.

    Southampton 0-0 Watford

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live

I'm liking the look of Watford so far at the St. Mary's Stadium - 4-2-3-1 with Richarlison and Carrillo offering a threat from the flanks, Andre Gray bustling around to keep the centre-backs busy and Nathaniel Chalobah looking very composed in central midfield.

  6. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Leicester 0-0 Chelsea

Cesc Fabregas is on it today, he glides a magnificent through-ball in behind the Leicester defence to free Victor Moses, who makes up some yards to keep the ball in and batter in a low cross - really well defended by Wes Morgan a the near post though. Chelsea look slick.

  7. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Everton 0-0 Tottenham

The moment Gylfi Sigurdsson gets inside the opponent's half - half not area - he is being encouraged to shoot.

That's after he scored from 50 yards in the Europa League recently and Everton fans fancy his chances when he chests down an attempted clearance on the edge of the Tottenham area but skews his shot well wide.

    Leicester 0-0 Chelsea

It is all Chelsea at the King Power but the visitors' best chance remains that missed volley for Morata. Though as I speak, David Luiz thumps a free-kick straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

    Southampton 0-0 Watford

Still no shots of any type but Southampton are growing into this one.

The hosts are finding plenty of space down the left and Ryan Bertrand sends in a cross towards the near post but Watford clear.

  10. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Arsenal 1-0 Bournemouth

Arsenal are looking much more like their old selves. Mesut Ozil starts an attack down the left which ends with Granit Xhaka firing over from 20-odd yards.

  11. Welbeck goal sets Arsenal offpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

Danny Welbeck's early goal has eased Arsenal into this game. It's drastically improved the atmosphere around the stadium too.

  12. Players under the hammerpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Dion Dublin
Former Leicester & Man Utd forward on Final Score

I am bored of talking about players who want to leave and do what they want to do. It gets on my nerves!

They are on a great wage, they play for big clubs, they get to play football, they are adored by the fans and you want to leave?

I am sick of it. It's a great job. Just calm down and play football. How good do they really think they are?

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:16 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Arsenal 1-0 Bournemouth

That's as good as Arsenal get! Brilliant one-touch passing stuff as they slice Bournemouth open, Alexandre Lacazette is in on goal but the referee gives the Gunners a free-kick.

    ADVANTAGE REF!

Asmir Begovic then makes a superb save to claw out the free-kick from Mesut Ozil.

  14. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Brighton 0-0 West Brom

The linesman's flag cruelly denies Brighton fans the chance to celebrate their first Premier League goal.

Solly March's fierce drive is padded down by Ben Foster and Shane Duffy reacts quickly to poke in the loose ball... but he's offside.

    The wait continues.

  15. 'Brilliant play'published at 15:14 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Everton 0-0 Tottenham

    Leon Osman
Ex-Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

It was a clear shot at goal but Alli's just dragged it wide. For a player of his ability, he will be annoyed with that.

It was brilliant play from him though.

Pranav Madabhushi: Danny Welbeck doesn't always deserve criticism. Always a hard worker. Well deserved goal.

Nick Clohessy: Six minutes of playing Kolasinac in his actual position and he's already provided an assist. He's a wing back, not a centre-back.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:13 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Everton 0-0 Tottenham

A let off for Everton. They give Dele Alli far too much space inside their own area and the England man tees up Christian Eriksen but he drags his shot wide.

  18. Postpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Southampton 0-0 Watford

This is a game between two unbeaten sides in the Premier League so it's probably to be expected that is a tight affair.

Southampton have half a chance when James Ward-Prowse finds Manolo Gabbiadini in the area but the striker hesitates and Watford swoop in to clear.

  20. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

Almost brilliant. Cesc Fabregas plays that early scooped ball over the top, the one that freed Diego Costa a few times last year, and Alvaro Morata is close to connecting with it on the volley. It just ran away from him.
