Maurico Pochettino has confirmed Danny Rose needed five stitches in the cut he received in the second-half.
Rather than take a chance on him, the Tottenham boss told him to go straight to the dressing room to get himself sorted out.
That's that cleared up then.

Tunde Paul: Now tell me, how can Liverpool let Philippe Coutinho go? Irreplaceable! If Liverpool is really building a strong competitive team, they should rightly hold to him. Should only contemplate if Barca comes with Neymar kind of fee. SIMPLE
Joe Young: Surely Coutinho has to stay in January? Why leave and miss out on the knockout stages of the Champions League?
Cristiano Ronaldo could end up as top scorer in the Champions League for a seventh time. Incredible!
Most goals in a single group stage11: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid, 2015-16)10: Lionel Messi (Barcelona, 2016-17)9: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid, 2013-14 & 2017-18), Luiz Adriano (Shakhtar Donetsk, 2014-15)8: Filippo Inzaghi (Milan, 2002-03), Hernán Crespo (Inter, 2002-03), Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United, 2004-05)

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BT Sport: "To finish in a good way was fantastic for us. Some players who had not played every week had the possibility to play and I am so happy for their performance. To finish with 16 points is a fantastic achievement in a difficult group."
On Danny Rose appearing to be unhappy at being substituted: "Players are never happy when they are going out.
"He had a big cut and the doctors said he needed a stitch and it was impossible to play.
"Of course the player was frustrated because it was Champions League but nothing wrong."

Johnny Magrinho: In their last 13 games Liverpool have conceded 11 goals with 7 of those coming in two games. We’ve scored 41. And this is with a shoddy defence and unbalanced midfield. I’ll take that.
George Powell: Nothing fills you with confidence going into the Derby than watching your rivals win 7-0. Probably best to play seven at the back on Sunday. Might only concede three then...
Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Manchester City
Manchester City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola tells BT Sport: "Congratulations to them, it was a good game. Their first goal was magnificent, and the second goal we didn't defend that well.
"I'm so pleased for Tosin (Adarabioyo), Phil (Foden) and Brahim (Diaz) and how well they played. We came here to win, we couldn't but we were trying until the end to do so. I'm happy for the performance.
"Now we are going to rest, come back tomorrow and prepare for the game (against Manchester United)."
Liverpool 7(seven)-0 Spartak Moscow
Liverpool said Philippe Coutinho was not for sale during the summer and rejected bids of £72m, £90m and one in the region of £114m from Barcelona.
Will they be back in for him?

Sir Fabian Pavez: Can Man United get Shakhtar Please.
Snail Bob, Formby: Regardless of tonight's 7. Thank you Klopp for the entertaining football you have brought . I'd rather lose 6-5 than drag a boring one nil win out
Shakhtar 2-1 Manchester City
Joleon Lescott
Former England defender on BBC 5 live
On who he would like his former side Manchester City face in the next round of the Champions League..
I wouldn't mind them getting Real Madrid. I think they'd dominate.
I think Juve would be the hardest as they are very strong defensively.
Liverpool 7(seven)-0 Spartak Moscow
Spartak boss Massimo Carrera: "I'm disappointed of course, because we were expecting to show a different type of game.
"I don't want to say that we should have won but our performance showed we lacked quality, it proves that we are not trained for the Champions League level.
"It's a hard result to take, I've never had a result like this. We have to treat it as a lesson."
Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Manchester City
Manchester City
Manchester City's Bernardo Silva has been talking to BT Sport. He said: "The game didn't go as we expected, in the first half they were better than us and it was a deserved win for them.
"In the second half we tried to come back, had our chances, but we are not happy. Even though we had already qualified, we wanted the three points.
"We have played against some amazing teams this season, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal and we did well. In the Champions League you never know what will happen and we will see what happens.
"We will try our best to win all the competitions. Today it was a big opportunity for most of the players that are not playing as much as the others. I hope we can win at the weekend (against Manchester United), this is a really important match for us."
Liverpool 7(seven)-0 Spartak Moscow
Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on BT Sport: "Nobody could imagine that it would go like this tonight. It was an all or nothing game for both teams. Spartak Moscow is a really good side, I know you won't think so now but they are difficult to play against. We opened the game perfectly and after we took the lead we didn't have to defend. It was a nice night at Anfield.
"It helps to get an early goal or two. I told them at half-time we needed to show that we learn from our mistakes and keep going. It's really difficult when we go to the next gear and use the space, it was nice to watch tonight.
"I have nothing to moan about tonight, it's all good. We changed the system a little bit, the boys did it really well. The defence was spot on, I really liked it.
"I don't mind too much who we get - usually I always get Real Madrid so we will see. We have no preferred opponents, it will be really nice after a long time. I love this kind of news."

Angry Player: I'm a Man United fan, but a football fan too, and Liverpool have played phenomenal tonight.
Tim, Notts: Liverpool proving once again how much better they are without Jordan Henderson. His time is up, especially with Keita arriving in the summer.
Mark Smith: Only 7 and a clean sheet, won the group. Not good enough.
Liverpool 7-0 Spartak Moscow
Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger for 5 live Sport at Anfield
Liverpool can score goals and that's the hardest part of the game – but coming up against opposition (in the next round) their defence might struggle.
You can still see Liverpool scoring but will they be strong enough at the back to deal with that quality?
Liverpool are great on the eye but it starts to get hard now.
Liverpool 7(seven)-0 Spartak Moscow
Liverpool
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum on BT Sport: "We started well and created chances. At 3-0 we were a little bit lacking in concentration and made a few mistakes but in the second half we did it good.
"That's why we train on the training ground, to create chances for each other. We created space for other players."
Sadio Mane: "We played good football today, the performance was great. It was amazing. We deserved to win, that's it."
Liverpool 7(seven)-0 Spartak Moscow
The Spartak players went over to their healthy away support at the end - their fans were excellent throughout. The defenders - not so much...
