  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Shakhtar 1-0 Manchester City

City haven't lost since the FA Cup semi final 29 games ago but they are nearly 2-0 down after another flowing move finds Bernard. This time he shoots left-footed but Ederson makes a good save low down.

Pep Guardiola's side still haven't had a shot in this dead rubber (for them).

  2. What's going on elsewhere?published at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

Porto have the upperhand for second spot in Group G, with Vincent Aboubakar's goal putting them in front against Monaco.

Leipzig need to better the Portuguese side's result but they trail 1-0 to Besiktas, who are already through.

    Tottenham 1-0 Apoel Nicosia

    BBC Sport at Wembley

Fernando Llorente has not exactly hit the ground running following his £14m summer move from Swansea.

The Spain forward scored 15 times in his only season with the Swans. He had not got one prior to tonight for his new club.

He has managed it tonight though, with a smart turn and shot.

It's only taken him 17 games.

  4. goal

GOAL - Shakhtar 1-0 Manchester Citypublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Bernard (26 mins)

Oh yes! That's a class finish from Brazil international Bernard. Marlos does the damage with a penetrating run through the middle before finding Bernard on the left-hand side of the area. There doesn't look too much on but he shapes a curling shot around Danilo, and into the top corner.

  5. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Liverpool 3-0 Spartak Moscow

So much space again! Spartak burned away by the pace of Liverpool's attack, it's switched to the left where Philippe Coutinho is running on to the ball. He shapes to bend in a first-time shot from 18 yards but Luiz Adriano gets a foot in to make a desperate challenge/block.

Liverpool simply look like scoring every time they attack.

    Liverpool 3-0 Spartak Moscow

Anfield is bouncing. Liverpool are scoring at will and surely now going through as group leaders.

    They are in complete control.

  7. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Liverpool 3-0 Spartak Moscow

A wide camera shot on the latest replay shows how hard it is to cover Liverpool's front four. Roberto Firmino was really wide on the left of that last attack, Sadio Mane on the right and Mo Salah bursting through the middle, with Philippe Coutinho then arriving late in the box from deep.

Spartak have no answer at the moment.

    Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 Manchester City

City haven't had a shot yet but there's one on target for Shakhtar, Marlos shown inside on to his left foot and bending in a decent hit which is always down the throat of Ederson.

    Fernando Llorente (20 mins)

There it is! Fernando Llorente has his first goal for Spurs, and he took it well. It's all about the pass from Serge Aurier though, wonderful low cross on the run from the right-back. Llorente is able to control, swivel, and score in one fluid movement from about six yards out.

    Roberto Firmino (18 mins)

You have to wonder whether Spartak have watched Liverpool play at all this season? They lose the ball cheaply and again leave three on three at the back.

Sadio Mane crosses in, it hits the arm of Serdar Tasci and pops up invitingly for Roberto Firmino, who crashes in on the bounce with the outside of his boot.

Not quite as slick and incisive at Wembley but Spurs do go close as Fernando Llorente almost scrambles in a cross.

    Philippe Coutinho (15 mins)

    Total voetbal

A brilliant team goal as Liverpool just pass Spartak to death. There is no pressure on the ball at all but you have to admire the attacking play. Sadio Mane finds Mo Salah, he pings it to Roberto Firmino on the overlap first time, the defence scramble acros to cover but Firmino is one pass ahead. He cuts it back into the run of Philippe Coutinho, who slots home first time with his left foot.

On their day they are a wonderful side to watch...

  17. Goals elswherepublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Feyenoord 0-1 Napoli

Napoli need Man City to do them a favour by beating Shakhtar Donetsk if they're to finish second in the group - but the Serie A side are doing their bit as Piotr Zielinski puts them in front.

Real Madrid are in front against Borussia Dortmund through Borja Mayoral. Real are already guaranteed second behind Spurs, but as things stand Apoel Nicosia will nick third spot from the Germans.

Maribor are ahead against Sevilla, which means Spartak Moscow could pinch second if they were to turn it around at Anfield.

    Liverpool 1-0 Spartak Moscow

Loris Karius has to get down well to make a save as Luiz Ardriano drives a shot in from an angle. Liverpool look dangerous every time they get the ball though, with Sadio Mane wasteful inside the area when he shot into the side-netting.

  19. Dele Alli is tired mentallypublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Apoel Nicosia

    Joleon Lescott
Former England defender on BBC 5 live

On Spurs player Dele Alli's drop in form:

It’s a lot of pressure for Alli and he’s had a great start to his career. To continue that and not to expect him to have a dip in form is a bit silly.

He’s still a young lad and still learning, he will get tired mentally. He may not feel it physically but he might mentally.

  20. Tottenham's European recordpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Apoel Nicosia

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Wembley

Victory for Tottenham tonight would be their fifth in Europe this season, a tally they have exceeded only five times in their history. On three of which they reached the final.

The most wins they have ever got in one campaign is nine, in the Europa League in 2013-14.

I doubt it will live as long in the memory as this season though.

Sheriff Tiraspol and Tromso are not exactly Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
