  1. Sevilla's safety blanketpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

Sevilla have equalised against Maribor through Ganso - they needed that of course, just in case Spartak Moscow pulled back seven goals at Anfield and pipped them to second place in the group.

  2. It was unselfish from Sturridgepublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Liverpool 6-0 Spartak Moscow

    Conor McNamara
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

    On Mane's second goal..

Sturridge set it up and Mane was able to flick it in. It looks routine it's not. Mane had to scoop the ball in.

It was unselfish from Sturridge, who I'm sure is wanting a goal of his own tonight.

We still have 10 minutes to go so who knows what the final score is going to be.

    Liverpool scoring at will.

  3. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 3-0 Apoelpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (80 mins)

A touch of gloss applied to the scoreline! Nice feet from Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to wriggle a yard of space inside the area and his shot hits one of three defenders in his path and flies into the net.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Shakhtar 2-0 Manchester City

Unlucky! Great run down the left by youngster Brahim Diaz, and his cross is touched against the post by Gabriel Jesus from just a few yards out.

Phil Foden has moved into a more central role since Diaz came on.

  5. Rose offpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Tottenham 2-0 Apoel Nicosia

    Interesting.

Danny Rose has just been substituted and disappeared straight down the tunnel.

He had just been booked was told to go to the touchline for treatment for a cut near his eye.

The Spurs doctor was cleaning it up when Mauricio Pochettino had a quick look and decided to take Rose off.

The England defender did not look too impressed and went straight down the tunnel on his own.

  6. Firmino's thankspublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Liverpool 6-0 Spartak Moscow

    Patrick Jennings
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Everyone in the whole ground seemed to rise to their feet and applaud as Roberto Firmino strolled off with his arms aloft.

What on earth are they going to do when Jurgen Klopp withdraws hat-trick hero Philippe Coutinho with two minutes to go?

  7. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 6-0 Spartak Moscowpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Sadio Mane (76 mins)

A goal which sums up the game. Spartak have possession in the centre circle, Sadio Mane charges in to dispossess them and three passes later the ball is in the net!

Mohamed Salah feeds Daniel Sturridge, who is just onside and does well to pick out Mane bursting through the middle. The pass is just behind the forward but he does well to adjust and hook into the net. His second, Liverpool have six!

  8. CLOSE!published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Liverpool 5-0 Spartak Moscow

Spartak's best moment of the night! Lovely effort too from Quincy Promes, curling a strike in from 16 yards which Loris Karius can only watch as it fizzes past the post.

Ant H, Birmingham: Typical. Liverpool thrash someone and they’re a poor side. City do it and they’re the greatest ever.

  19. Applause for Rosepublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2017

    Tottenham 2-0 Apoel Nicosia

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Wembley

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Tottenham full-back Danny Rose and a supposed £50m move to Manchester United in January.

Quite apart from United already having about four players capable of playing on the left side of defence, Rose needs to show the form that got him into the England side.

The defender is playing only his sixth game after eight months out with a knee injury.

He got a decent round of applause from the Spurs fans when he took a corner just then.
