Newcastle fans seem undecided about Swansea.

A few minutes ago they were chanting about their dislike for the city, adding that they wanted to go home, albeit in more colourful language.

Now they're chanting "Don't take me home". Jamaal Lascelles' goal appears to have changed their outlook.

Luciano Narsingh is the final throw of the dice for the hosts. He replaces Tom Carroll. Swansea are running out of time to take anything from the game.

Wilfired Bony defends his front post well, a solid header out and that's a corner for Newcastle, who are ending this game strongly. Bony clears again. It's all eating up time.

Leroy Fer is now in the book for a strong tackle in midfield. Wherever Rafa Benitez is watching, and I presume that he is, he'll be feeling a lot better now.

Newcastle are heading into the top half as it stands.

Jamaal Lascelles got a run on Alfie Mawson, came around Leroy Fer and got a run at Mawson and Mawson is static, standing still and can't jump with him.

Lascelles gets well above Mawson and scores. You are better just marking someone instead of using zonal marking.

I'm sure zonal marking has its merits, but that goal again showed up its problems. Jamaal Lascelles was able to run in unchallenged to nut that header into the back of the net.

Newcastle make a change up front. It's Dwight Gayle on for Joselu.

It's the visitors having the best of it now as edge towards full-time. Christian Atsu has made a difference, though fellow sub Mo Diame is lucky to get away with a poor, high challenge on Jordan Ayew.

A great chance for Newcastle and it is a really poor finish. He was on the angle and smashes it instead of just picking a spot. The goalkeeper spread himself well and it was a great move but a poor finish.

Chance for Newcastle now! They have been much more expressive in this second half as Javier Manquillo picks out Ayoze Perez breaking into the area, the angle is narrowing and he hits it low and early, but it's another solid stop with the feet by Lukasz Fabianski.

A nutmeg with his first touch for Wilfried Bony, slick stuff. He seems to be playing just behind Tammy Abraham for now.

And here he is. Wilfried Bony is on for Renato Sanches, while Newcastle introduce Mo Diame for Isaac Hayden.

Swansea's supporters can't wait to see Wilfried Bony come on for his second debut for the club.

He was a huge fans' favourite before his £25m move to Manchester City in 2015 and his popularity does not seem to have diminished following his deadline-day return for half that price.

The Ivorian striker is preparing to come on and the Swans' fans are chanting his name but the only sour note is his squad number. A striker wearing 2? Disgraceful.

A much more open game now. Newcastle bring the ball away, Matt Ritchie finds Ayoze Perez running into the area and his low cross/shot is right across goal! Just needed a touch...
