Following the bombing of a London Tube train this week - and the national threat level being raised to "critical" - there has been an increased level of security around Premier League grounds across the weekend. That is also the case inside Old Trafford this afternoon.

Arsenal took only nine points from their 10 games against the other top six sides last season. To put that into context, Chelsea took 16 and Liverpool 20 - the Merseysiders were the most successful team in that mini-league.

In short, Arsenal must do better against their rivals - certainly much better than at Anfield three weeks ago.

Chelsea have hit their stride after the shock defeat to Burnley and look to be London's most likely title challengers.

It has been six years since Arsenal avoided defeat at the Bridge - with the Gunners conceding 15 goals and scoring only two along the way. Chelsea will be strong favourites to win again, and take some revenge for their double-denying FA Cup final defeat in May.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised "legend" Sergio Aguero, after the striker moved two goals away from equalling the club's all-time record.

The Argentina forward scored his sixth Premier League hat-trick as City beat Watford 6-0 on Saturday.

The 29-year-old has 175 goals since joining City in 2011, with Eric Brook holding the club record of 177 goals.

"Hopefully that [the record] will happen very soon, and we can have a big celebration," said Guardiola.

Ex-England winger Brook, who was at City from 1928-1940, scored his goals in 494 appearances. Aguero has scored his in 259 games.

Guardiola added: "He's a legend, and it's a part of history in the club. Aguero's numbers speak for themselves - he is amazing."

    • Arsenal have lost their last five away Premier League games versus Chelsea, their joint-longest away losing run in the competition against a single opponent (also 5 in a row vs Man Utd between 2009-2013).
    • The Gunners haven’t lost six consecutive away league games versus a single team since a seven-game run versus Liverpool at Anfield between 1981 to 1988.

The way Chelsea are set up at the minute, they're very sound defensively. It's interesting to see their selection today, it's slightly different to last week. I'm really looking forward to the match.

The Leicester lads say when you have Kante on the pitch you don't need another midfielder in there, because of the ground he covers.

Alexis Sanchez is on the bench as Alesandre Lacazette gets a start in a big game. Sead Kolasinac was a game-changer from the bench against Cologne and is rewarded with a start.

Arsenal: Cech, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal, Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Welbeck, Iwobi, Lacazette. Subs: Mertesacker, Sanchez, Giroud, Ospina, Walcott, Maitland-Niles, Elneny.

Chelsea go back to their first-choice XI, minus Eden Hazard who is on the bench. Davide Zappacosta had a blinder in midweek but can still only warm the bench for title winner Victor Moses.

It's an 18 which screams 'strength in depth'.

Chelsea: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Luiz, Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso, Willian, Pedro, Morata. Subs: Caballero, Rudiger, Hazard, Bakayoko, Zappacosta, Batshuayi, Christensen.

You look at the teams who are going to Stamford Bridge and Wembley and getting results, they're going there set up properly.

If Arsenal did that, they would have a great chance. In the front three, they've got quality to score goals but they can't keep the opposition out.

If I was Arsene Wenger, I'd be reminding them of those games in the FA Cup and Community Shield.

Having played both sides already this season, Chelsea are such a tough side to beat. They've got a team full of strong capable players and technically astute.
