David Luiz was shrugging off Alexis Sanchez, took a heavy touch and then had to lunge in on Sead Kolasinac, who got to the ball first. No injury to the left-back by the looks of it.

  3. RED CARD - David Luizpublished at 87 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal

David Luiz is late on Sead Kolasinac, that's high as well and he sees an instant red card. Not dissimilar to Gary Cahill's red card on the opening day.

Since Hazard has come on Chelsea have looked sharper in the final third. They've been more like a 3-5-2.

  6. More tests for Pogbapublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

    Man Utd v Everton (16:00BST)

    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

When he spoke to the media on Friday, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho initially would not confirm Paul Pogba would be missing for any more than today's game with the injury he sustained against Basel on Tuesday.

He later extended that to 'a few games'.

However, it seems United cannot be entirely sure how long Pogba's absence will be.

He is to have more tests next week after which more will be known.

It is understood the initial hope Pogba could be fit for the high-profile trip to Liverpool on 14 October is unlikely to materialise.

Alexis Sanchez is out on the left wing now, with Olivier Giroud through the middle. The Chilean dinks in a lively ball with the outside of his boot but Giroud is beaten to it. We're not going to get a goal are we?

A small glimpse of real quality from Chelsea sub Eden Hazard! He receives the ball, shakes off a challenge, drives past another Arsenal man, dribbles along the edge of the area and then shoots powerfully, well saved by Petr Cech though.

Manchester United v Everton (16:00 BST)

As expected, Manchester United replace the injured Paul Pogba with Marouane Fellaini, with regular central defensive pair Eric Bailly and Phil Jones returning after both were suspended from the midweek Champions League win over Basel. Ashley Young is preferred to Daley Blind at left-back.

Wayne Rooney looks set to lead the line for Everton on his return to Old Trafford, while Tom Davies returns after missing the Europa League defeat by Atalanta. Cuco Martina gets the nod over Mason Holgate on the right.

  15. Warm welcome for Waynepublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

    Man Utd v Everton (16:00BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Wayne Rooney can be assured of a positive welcome on his return to Manchester United this afternoon. As usual, there were a thousand or so - almost exclusively United - fans waiting for the team buses to arrive 90 minutes before kick-off at Old Trafford.Everton arrived first and Rooney was one of the last to get off.And despite his return to Goodison Park this summer the familiar 'Rooney' chant came from a sizeable number of supporters, who have evidently not forgotten the striker's role in five Premier League titles and a European Cup, plus a host of other trophies.
