Tony Greaves: One wonders if Koeman has control of the dressing room.

Johnny Magrinho: Wow, Everton are horrendous. And I thought being a Liverpool fan this year was frustrating... "Mo' money, mo' problems"

Jeff Walsh: Can anyone offer an explanation of what Steve Walsh does at Everton please? #moneyfornothing

Barcelona v Las Palmas (15:15 BST)

    Spanish La Liga

Barcelona's league match at home to Las Palmas will take place behind closed doors, despite clashes occurring around Catalonia's independence referendum.

The Spanish government has pledged to stop a poll that was declared illegal by the country's constitutional court.

"FC Barcelona condemns the events which have taken place," said a statement from the Nou Camp club.

It added Sunday's match "will be played behind closed doors" after the league's "refusal to postpone the game".

    Everton 0-1 Burnley

Burnley have lost just one of the previous 21 Premier League games in which they have been leading at half-time (W16 D4), winning each of the last 10 in a row.

It's a big 45 minutes for Ronald Koeman. He said on Thursday night that his players were 'afraid' to play forwards. They started much more direct today but trail to a good Burnley performance.

Pallav: Who was thinking Koeman could be manager at Barca?!!!

Mike-Kateley: Why wait for the Christmas rush, Koeman needs to go now. The millions spent and he isn't making it work.

Ian: As much as I disliked Martinez as a manager, (and wouldn't want him back) it was never as flat as this. #nobelief

There are plenty of boos. The fans have been more and more frustrated as the half has gone on.

Burnley have got better and better and there are lots of questions for Koeman. Does he stick with this? That would be a big call.

Niasse is not really in the game and Calvert Lewin is not working well with him.

When you have got Klaassen and Wayne Rooney on the bench do you make the change? Yes you do.

Fuzzywobs: Everton must be counting down the days till Seamus Coleman's return.

Crusader: Sack Koeman at half time. Unsworth must be at Goodison somewhere to take over?

Just shows the measure of the man – Rafa Benitez has such a strong affinity with Liverpool after spending six years there, and of course his family still live in the city, he has made Hillsborough campaigner Margaret Aspinall guest of honour for today’s game at St James' Park.

You can follow the action on BBC Radio 5 live from 16:30 BST.

This Everton system is not working. They are not creating chances.

Their good players are not getting on the ball. Sigurdsson as much as anyone is getting left out of the game.

Tough call Richard. I'm not so sure it was a penalty, but I didn't think it was a dive either. Who'd be an official eh?

Everton are hanging on now. Chris Wood is bullying the Toffees and from his challenge Jack Cork picks up the pieces and has a shot deflected over.

There is a touch. I think the referee has got that completely wrong.

Everton have 100% got off with one there.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 42 mins

    Everton 0-1 Burnley

Is that a penalty for Burnley! Ooh, ref Jon Moss has booked Scott Arfield for a dive and that looks harsh!

Again it's a clanger from Ashley Williams, who belts a clearance against a player, the ball ricochets to Arfield and Williams lunges in on him. There was contact.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 40 mins

    Everton 0-1 Burnley

Would Everton's board be thinking about a change in management? Those two, rather different options suggested would bring very different reactions I think!

There is an international break coming up which is traditionally not a good time for under-fire managers...

Steven Defour is booked for, I think, dissent.
