Josh Earl: Always rated Roberto Martinez and never understood all the negativity towards him.. The grass isn't ways greener, Everton fans
Brighton 1-1 Everton
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton goalscorer Anthony Knockaert talking to Sky Sports: "We gave them a goal, basically. We should have done better to keep the result and keep the three points.
"We knew it was important to keep patient and the goal would come. We did brilliantly until the end, when we conceded the penalty."

I think Bruno was really suffering from fatigue in the final minutes, which may have been the primary reason behind his late misjudgment.
I watched him struggling to retreat to a defensive position just minutes before having gone forward to join a Brighton attack.
Derby 2-0 Nottingham Forest
Matej Vydra's strike after just 24 seconds set Derby County on the way to victory over Nottingham Forest in the East Midlands derby at Pride Park.
The Czech forward's shot from 25 yards out found the bottom corner.
Barrie McKay twice came close to an equaliser before the break, clipping the post before Rams keeper Scott Carson denied him from a one-on one.
Vydra played in David Nugent to double the Rams' lead five minutes after half-time and Forest could not find a reply.

Keown says Arsenal players "capitulated" after Troy Deeney's penalty and blames the "DNA and recruitment" of players after his former side lost 2-1 away to Watford.

Brighton 1-1 Everton
That game got better as it got older, but both sides look really short of a goal threat at the top end of the pitch. Work to be done.
Everton fans have a long journey home but at least they have a point in their pockets.
Brighton 1-1 Everton
'How many rupees until we take priority' reads a banner in the away end, a protest which I guess is aimed at this match being moved for international broadcast.
The referee is loudly booed by the home fans as they leave the field.

Wayne Rooney steals a point for Everton.
Brighton 1-1 Everton
Well played Mat Ryan! The Brighton keeper does brilliantly to keep out Kevin Mirallas twice after good work from Mason Holgate down the left. He saved a shot and then a header on the follow-up! Superb.
Brighton 1-1 Everton
This point would lift both clubs three points away from the bottom three in these very early stages of the season. Kevin Mirallas is booked for chopping down Lewis Dunk.
Brighton 1-1 Everton
Anyone up for a winner? This game was dull as dishwater for 70 minutes but it's come to life now.
Wayne Rooney (Pen)
He's not had the best afternoon, he's been booed throughout by Brighton fans, but Wayne Rooney may have earned his side a point, steering a penalty calmly into the corner!
Brighton 1-0 Everton
Bruno elbows Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the neck! Penalty...
Brighton 1-0 Everton
Izzy Brown has just come on for Brighton and has a roaring shot from 20 yards brilliantly pushed away by Jordan Pickford! Anthony Knockaert then goes in the book for a cynical fuol to cut out a counter.

Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey starts and is set to wear a protective cast after fracturing a finger breaking up a training ground fight between Jamaal Lascelles and Mohamed Diame. Lascelles also starts for Newcastle.
