Oh, Lithuania. The hosts spurn a glorious chance to reduce the deficit and punish some sloppy Scotland defending. It's Hibernian's Vykintas Slivka who stabs his shot wide - much to the relief of the helpless Craig Gordon. The Scots remain two goals to the good.

Impressive build up from Scotland again as they seek a third goal in Vilnius. Matt Phillips is the architect, teeing up Stuart Armstrong but his effort is over the bar. The visitors continue to show attacking intent.

Andy Robertson whips in a sumptuous cross into the Lithuanian penalty area. Cat among the pigeons for the hosts as Leigh Griffiths' effort thuds into the side-netting.

So close to a third Scotland goal.

The half-time interval hasn't appeared to have disrupted Scotland's rhythm. The visitors come roaring forward again and Stuart Armstrong fancies another goal... But his effort is straight into the arms of Setkus.

"He's a joy to watch when he's on form, Stuart Armstrong," says BBC Scotland commentator Liam McLeod.

Little reason to be negative about anything in the Scotland performance, but James McArthur's display will have done nothing to persuade those disappointed by Callum McGregor's absence from the squad they were wrong.

Scotland begin the second half the way they ended the first: on the front foot. A nice, slick passing move sees Matt Phillips clear. He tries to play in Leigh Griffiths but the pass is too heavy for the scampering striker and Lithuania survive.
