  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:01

    Reading 0-0 Nottingham Forest

And they're off in the last game to kick-off tonight at Reading's Madejski Stadium.

Lots of empty seats around as they get going with the home side on a bit of a slump with just the one win in their past eight league games.

  2. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Millwallpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Tom Elliott (13 mins)

Poor defending from Wednesday, who allow Fred Onyedinma to carry the ball forward. The youngster's shot is then deflected to the back post where Tom Elliott reacts well to turn the ball into the unguarded net with the outside of his boot.

    Lively start at Hillsborough.

  3. Postpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Fulham 0-0 Bristol City

A blow for Bristol City as fullback Eros Pisano is forced off the pitch and is replaced by Hordur Magnusson.

It's still level at Craven Cottage, but the away side are threatening.

  4. Postpublished at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Sunderland 0-0 Bolton

Sunderland and Bolton are statistically the two worst teams in the division at the moment and I really can't say this game is disproving the notion.

Aiden McGeady sent in a teasing corner for the Wearsiders best chance, they've had a couple of set-pieces to no avail.

Bolton went close from Mark Beevers' shot, but it zipped wide.

  5. goal

GOAL: Cardiff 1-0 Ipswichpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Junior Hoilett (12 mins)

    Cardiff lead!

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing whips in a cross from the right and Junior Hoilett volleys the ball into the ground and into the corner of the net.

  6. goal

GOAL: Hull 0-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Martin Braithwaite (13 mins)

They were beaten at home on Saturday, and Hull are behind in front of their fans once again.

The ball runs loose... and who reacts fastest?

Boro striker Martin Braithwaite - not only is he first to the ball but he has the finish to match, slotting past Allan McGregor to give the visitors an early lead.

  7. goal

GOAL: Leeds United 1-0 Derby Countypublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Pierre-Michel Lasogga (7 mins)

Derby have won their last three Championship games, but they're going to have to come from behind if they are to continue that run tonight.

Leeds break swiftly with Samuel Saiz releasing Pierre-Michel Lasogga who blasts in at the near post with a low shot. It's his fifth goal for the club.

  8. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Norwich 0-0 Wolves

It's been a lively start at Carrow Road.

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves saw his 20-yard shot tipped wide by Angus Gunn while Mario Vrancic fired over for the hosts.

    Still goalless.

  9. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Millwallpublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Adam Reach (3 mins)

A cross-field pass releases left-back Morgan Fox, who fires in a low cross for Adam Reach to steer into the bottom corner.

Great start for Wednesday, who are short on form at the moment.

  10. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-0 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Idrissa Sylla (4 mins)

Sheffield United cough up the daftest of goals to Queens Park Rangers on a chilly night at the loft.

Rangers sent a long, bouncing ball through to the Blades goalkeeper Jamal Blackman, who climbed above his own player to gather it.

However, he then tumbled to the deck, spilling it, and the waiting Idrissa Sylla said thanks very much. Surprise, surprise indeed. Rangers lead. Blackman now receiving treatment.

    Fulham 0-0 Bristol City

Bristol City are full of confidence and with good reason. They're are unbeaten in their last six Championship away matches and won 4-0 at Craven Cottage last season.

In-form fullback Joe Bryan has already fired a warning shot over the bar.

Felix is all over the games at Craven Cottage and Elland Road.

I'll see if Wolves can bounce back at Norwich.

  15. Tonight's maverick planpublished at 19:41

We'll bring you news of every goal scored in the Championship, so you won't miss a thing.

But there will also be a closer focus on five matches...

    • Fulham v Bristol City
    • Leeds v Derby
    • Norwich v Wolves
    • QPR v Sheffield United
    • Sunderland v Bolton

If it goes bonkers at Burton though, and a snorefest at Craven Cottage, we may switch things up.

  17. Into League Onepublished at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Blackburn v Fleetwood (19:45 GMT)

There's not much league football going on outside the Championship this evening, with plenty of Checkatrade Trophy ties taking place.

The only match is in League One, where seventh-placed Blackburn take on Lancashire rivals Fleetwood at Ewood Park.

  18. Postpublished at 19:33 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

Reading v Nottingham Forest (20:00 GMT)

The one game that isn't getting under way at 19:45 GMT is at the Madejski Stadium.

According to one of my esteemed colleagues who lives in the town - it's down to police advice because of traffic.

I'm getting old. I like things to stay simple, but they'll be kicking off 15 minutes after everyone else.

One thing that is for certain - the Royals could do with a victory - they're really struggling this season.

  19. 'We're just enjoying it'published at 19:30

QPR v Sheffield United (19:45 GMT)

    Chris WilderImage source, Rex Features

Chris Wilder is not getting carried away with Sheffield United's fine start which has seen them win nine of their last 11 Championship games.

"We haven't got any egos in the dressing room so we won't take backward steps," the 50-year-old told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"We're just enjoying it [but] we've definitely got a target on our back because of the results we've had and the performances we've produced."

Victory tonight could see the Blades open up a four-point gap at the summit. Dreamland.
