  1. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2018

    Man United 3-0 Stoke

Paul Pogba clips a free-kick well over the top and that's full time.

As comfortable a win as it gets in the end for Manchester United. Stoke had a bright spell in the first half but they stay in the relegation zone.

    Can they escape?

Any more in the tank? Marcus Rashford gets past Stephen Ireland into the area but his shot is tame.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 86 mins

    Man United 3-0 Stoke

Stoke should be on the scoresheet. That's a great chance as Mame Diouf has all sorts of space inside the penalty area but he scuffs his left-footed shot at David de Gea, he saves with his feet but it comes back to Diouf, under pressure, and he screws a shot into the side netting.

    Very poor finish.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 84 mins

    Man United 3-0 Stoke

Stoke have mustered one shot in the second half, United 10.

11! Marcus Rashford backheels a cross on goal and that's a very decent save indeed by Jack Butland.

Paul Lambert has his arms crossed, head burrowed in his scarf. It's that sort of night to be honest.

There were positives in that first half.

United make a third and final change as Juan Mata is swapped for Scott McTominay.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 80 mins

    Man United 3-0 Stoke

Juan Mata flicks on a cross with a little backheel and it skids against the post, though the flag was up for offside.

Jose Mourinho makes a double change, Marouane Fellaini replaces Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford takes the place of Anthony Martial.

    Man United 3-0 Stoke

Stoke City are the first team in Europe’s big five divisions to concede 50 league goals this season. They are standing off United now, no pressure at all.

    Man United 3-0 Stoke

The hail continues to hammer down, I think all concerned would shake hands on this now and call it off if they could.

Stoke were good for a spell in the first half but they've offered very little since United went 2-0 up.

  9. 'I don't think it is handball'published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2018

    Man Utd 3-0 Stoke

It's a great finish. Is there a handball? It's hard to say on the angles we're getting but it's a great finish.

Looking at it now, I don't think it is a handball.

  10. goal

GOAL - Man United 3-0 Stokepublished at 72 mins

    Romelu Lukaku

Took that very well! Stoke want a handball as Romelu Lukaku collects a ball with his back to goal, he holds off Kevin Wimmer easily, turns, and buries a left-footed shot past Jack Butland and into the net.

Not for me. Chest. It was hammered at him by Anthony Martial.

    Man United 2-0 Stoke

The Stoke fans are eventually drowned out on the 5 live effects mic but not by the home crowd, by the hailstones rebounding off the Old Trafford roof.

  12. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Man United 2-0 Stoke

Peter Crouch is withdrawn as one-time Manchester United man Mame Diouf gets a run out up front for Stoke. The game has gone terribly flat. Stephen Ireland has vanished I'm afraid to say.

Still, we had that 15-minute spell in the first half.

Moritz Bauer has completed 61 sprints so far tonight - the next highest in a Stoke shirt is Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Juan Mata turns the ball in from a Jesse Lingard shot, but he's offside.

Moritz Bauer, cult hero in the making. He's an absolute maniac on the right-hand side for Stoke. He charges down the wing, loses the ball, is miles out of position and can't get back.

United attack and Juan Mata fires over.

  16. CLOSE!published at 63 mins

    Man United 2-0 Stoke

A rare mistake from Darren Fletcher lets Romelu Lukaku in on goal, he finds Jesse Lingard, who slides it to Juan Mata on his right. Mata curls one, side-footed, just wide!

Ramadan Sobhi comes on for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. Stoke mix it up.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 60 mins

    Man United 2-0 Stoke

Kevin Wimmer hasn't done much in his time in England to suggest he's worth the transfer fees that have come his way. His tackle on Anthony Martial here is rubbish and the forward should score from 10 yards but slams a shot straight at Jack Butland, who had already dived to his right.

Lads, come on now. Stoke have learned nothing from the two goals they shipped in the first half as they stand well off Anthony Martial and then Paul Pogba on the edge of the area. Get tighter!

Pogba tries to curl in an effort with the outside of his boot but it's deflected away.

All you can hear are Stoke fans though. Excellent travelling support and more royalties in the Tom Jones tin.

Not much has happened since half time. We can't have Liverpool v City every week though can we?
