I don't know about you, I don't know about Jurgen Klopp, and I don't know about Harry Kane. But I need a lie down. Tottenham did not manage to record a rare league win at Anfield - but after going 2-1 down so late on, a point might just feel like a victory.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius speaking to Sky Sports: Everyone is very frustrated, everyone wants to get the win. We scored in the last minute so it’s difficult to describe how you don’t get the three points.

On punching cross for Wanyama goal: It’s difficult to say if that was a mistake because there were so many bodies around. I reacted late and got it away. I still got good distance on it. From that range 90% of the shots I’m able to save but that one, unfortunately not. I don’t think that was my mistake. It was a wonder strike.

On first penalty decision: The ball was played through, it rolled off Dejan’s foot and then I had the decision to come or not. I took the risk and he probably touched me a bit as I pulled my arm away, but if that’s a penalty then so be it.

On penalty save from Kane: I watch my opponents before the game and I had a feeling that in the big games he tends to go down the middle and it paid off. Unfortunately for the second one he didn’t show any nerves and put it in.

Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder James Milner speaking to Match of the Day: "Disappointing, being in the lead and then what happened with the penalty save and Mo (Salah) thinking it's a match-winning moment, to have it snatched away is disappointing.

"Seeing it (the penalty) again afterwards there is contact. The referee has said 'no' but the linesman is 100% right away. The first penalty was obviously offside, but Loz (Karius) has pulled off a good save.

"It was disappointing we could not control the game second half a bit more, couldn't get that goal to get us over the line.

"They are a good side and move the ball quickly. When you have the majority of the ball, that pressing you are not doing so often, but it wasn't as easy to get up to them as quickly."

On Dele Alli being booked for diving:

"You don't need to cheat. So we have to try and stamp that out by coming down hard on particular incidents. Harder than a booking.

"I can't defend him in this particular incident. But at the same time he needs to focus and work harder in training to get back to his best.

"Dele Alli is nowhere near on target for what he did last season, nowhere near the calibre that he can play at."

There were many talking points during that game. One that got buried amid all the late drama was Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli's second-half booking for diving. Here's former England striker Ian Wright's view...

Paul Mulligan: Extraordinary, pulsating, quality game of football. Bonkers - we deserved the win and almost left with nothing. Both penalty decisions correct, whatever Klopp thinks. Two top teams playing football the right way. Great watch.

Ali Reza: When we’ve all calmed down we’ll realize that a draw was actually a fair result. Spurs walked all over us in the second half. It’s what happens when we sell our best player and don’t replace him.

Tottenham goalscorer Harry Kane, speaking to Match of the Day: "I was nervous before the second penalty. It was a big moment, with a lot of pressure but I stuck to the routine.

"There was a lot of pressure, in front of the Kop. The first one, I did everything I wanted to and the keeper made the save. You've got to take the chances. I thought the second one was a penalty; the defender took out Lamela.

"The gaffer said at half-time: Play a bit quicker. We created some chances. Victor Wanyama scored a great goal, and if I scored the first penalty we probably would have won it. But there we are.

"I've had a good season in front if goal so let's see how many I can get now."

More from Klopp speaking to Match of the Day: "We caused each other problems. Tottenham played some good football, they have good quality, and we struggled a bit physically in the centre of the park.

"In the second half, Tottenham were strong. We had to defend like crazy, they had to chase the game. We had counter-attacks, the high pressure was good and we put in some super crosses. We were a bit unlucky here and there but we had enough chances to win the game and we would have if it wasn’t for those decisions."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to Match of the Day: "There were so many situations to talk about but the ref’s decisions decided the game so I can’t help but talk about them.

"I don’t understand either of the penalty situations. The first one was offside and the second, I know already what the ref and his assistant will say. There was a touch, a little touch. But Lamela has jumped into him and wanted the touch and to go down.

"If the ref kept playing at that level then fine, but in the first half he wasn’t giving fouls. Then for the softest touch of the whole game he decides it is a foul."

Spurs had more in the tank, especially from what we saw in the second half.

What a great goal from Salah. It would have been fitting to win the game, but it was a draw and now we've got talking points.

Of course people will be upset but it was a fantastic game.

More from Pochettino: "I was calm, relaxed. I am a little bit ill, I have a cold. But I think it was an amazing game to watch. Two teams that always try to play exciting football, I think we were much better after 90 minutes - I think we dropped two points.

"It was important, the character. When you analyse the game, it was always under control despite conceding the first goal. When you analyse the 90 minutes, Tottenham were much better.

"We always try to give our best. The team always shows personality and character. Today was a game we played for the win and to change history you need time."

On Harry Kane missing his first penalty and taking the next: "It was never in doubt. Congratulations to him on scoring 100 Premier League goals."

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino speaking to Match of the Day: "It was an amazing game to watch. I was calm, because I think the team plays so well. The feeling is we dropped two points. We were much, much, much better than Liverpool.

"Both were a penalty and nothing to say, it is not controversial - it is nothing. Sometimes people complain about the referee, but when they are right it is good to tell everyone."

On Victor Wanyama's wonder goal: "We signed Victor for Southampton and then at Tottenham, it was a fantastic goal - it was the plan, no! - I am so happy because he helps the team to achieve one point."

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is suffering from a bit of a cold and a sore throat, by the sounds of it. He's croaking his way through his post-match interviews. Let's pick out the best of what he said.

More from Klopp: "We had fantastic moments, we could have defended better, but we created a lot of chances. Big chances to be honest. But can you control the game against Tottenham for 90 minutes? I don't think so, their quality is too high.

"It's hard to accept all the decisions today."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to Sky Sports: "It was clear two sides high quality both wanted to win desperately, but the result was massively influenced by linesman decisions. We have to take it, that's how it is."

Asked if referee Jon Moss had explained the two Tottenham penalty decisions: "Did you ever hear? I am not allowed to go in their room until half an hour after. It was clear offside, unbelievable, I don't know what they were discussing.

"Yes, Virgil van Dijk touches him, but we all know Lamela wants the touch and we all know there were some hard fouls in the first half and we didn't get any fouls. That was the level for the game today, but then a situation in the last minute like that? Wow. He wanted to be middle of interest and he is."
