  2. Can the Cherries set a new mark?published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Bournemouth v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth are unbeaten in four Premier League home games, winning the last three in a row.

They've beaten Stoke, Arsenal and Everton, drawing with West Ham at the start of that run.

A fourth successive home win would be a Premier League club record for the Cherries.

    Bournemouth v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe:"Although the league table looks good in terms of position, the gap of points between us and the teams beneath us is not big and there are a host of teams tightly congested together.

"We have a lot of work to do and I am under no illusions that we have to deliver."

Southampton have only managed one win and one clean sheet in 14 Premier League games. They've drawn seven of those matches and lost six. No, it's not been a great time.

However, they are unbeaten in three successive away matches - they beat West Brom in their most recent one, following draws at Manchester United and Watford.

Every time I try to predict who's going down, it changes. I've never known a season like this.

Bournemouth were uncharacteristically shambolic at Huddersfield. But they're on a good home run, have goals in the side and confidence is still high from the wins against Arsenal and Chelsea. Two more victories should see them safe.

Newcastle are more solid now. St James' Park was rocking against Manchester United. But this is a long way from home and they've lost all five of their away games at top-10 sides.

A point would be a tonic for Rafa Benitez's side, who have must-win home games against Southampton and Huddersfield next month.

Subs: Boruc, Surman, Pugh, Adam Smith, Defoe, Mousset, Simpson.

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on West Ham: "They are in a good moment as well and they will show that.

"You play against a wall of eight players, at least, then they have two quick players, maybe Chicharito (Javier Hernandez) and (Marko) Arnautovic, or (Manuel) Lanzini, a little bit hidden in different areas ready for the counter-attack.

"It's good organisation, a clear plan, playing the players in their best positions. A few brave decisions as well. David [Moyes] is very, very experienced and he knows what he's doing."

  13. 'Relegation battles take their toll'published at 14:11 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Paul Clement
Former Swansea manager on Football Focus

When I went in to Swansea last season they only had 12 points and we picked up some great results and stayed up, so it was obviously very special. This season was clearly more difficult.

This is Swansea’s third relegation battle, and it takes its toll. When a new manager comes in, players hit the reset button and go again. They’ve had some great results, wins against Liverpool and Arsenal. The belief is back in the side and they are playing with confidence.

  14. 'Moyes has gone back to basics'published at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    West Ham United

Former West Ham midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker, speaking on BBC Radio 5 live: "West Ham have improved a lot since David Moyes came in.

"He has gone back to basics to make sure everyone works hard for the benefit of the team. West ham is more than a football club – it’s a way of life. It’s a generation thing."

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Football Focus

Brighton have an excellent defensive record. With Mat Ryan and Lewis Dunk in there the back four is well organised. It is a strength of Chris Hughton's team and it could be the thing that keeps them up. They have conceded so few goals.

  16. How they line up...published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Brighton line-up graphic

Brighton make one change to the side that drew 1-1 at Stoke in their last Premier League match, on 10 February.

Anthony Knockaert returns to the Seagulls' starting XI, with Solly March taking a place on the bench.

The Seagulls also name record signing Jurgen Locadia, who scored on debut in last week's FA Cup tie with Coventry, among their substitutes.

Brighton XI: Ryan, Bong, Dunk, Stephens, Knockaert, Gross, Murray, Izquierdo, Schelotto, Duffy, Propper.

Subs: Krul, Bruno, Kayal, Hemed, Goldson, Brown, Izquierdo.

    Swansea line up graphic

Swansea are boosted by the return of Alfie Mawson, who suffered a knee injury ahead of the FA Cup match at Sheffield Wednesday, meaning Carlos Carvalhal is able to name the same Swansea side that beat Burnley two weeks ago.

Leon Britton remains out with a pelvis injury and Renato Sanches continues to recover from a hamstring strain.

Swansea XI: Fabianski, Ki, Van der Hoorn, Mawson, Dyer, Carroll, Olsson, Clucas, Jordan Ayew, Naughton, Fernandez.

Subs: Nordfeldt, Abraham, Narsingh, Routledge, Andre Ayew, King, Bartley.

  17. 'A big test'published at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes: "It's tough for any club going to Liverpool. It always has been and I've never known it any different as a fan, player or manager.

"But we are looking forward to it. In my last two seasons at Everton I finished above them, so I will always remember that.

"Over the years I have done my best to get wins there, which has been hard, but finishing above them was nice.

"We've got a bit of confidence, we're in a good run of form ourselves but it will be a big test."

  18. Red reasons to be cheerfulpublished at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    Liverpool

    1. Liverpool have won their previous two Premier League games against West Ham 4-0 and 4-1.
    2. The Reds are unbeaten in 15 league matches at Anfield - since losing to Crystal Palace in April.
    3. Their only league defeat in 18 games spanning the last four months came at Swansea in January.
  19. 'I thought Huddersfield were gone'published at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Football Focus

It would be right up there with the best achievements if Huddersfield stay up with the players they have. Up until a few weeks ago, you would think they’ll go. Then they got the result against Bournemouth and they are right back in it. If West Brom are to stay up, you feel they have to win today.

  20. 'Reinvented Salah one of league's best'published at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    Paul Clement
Former Swansea manager on Football Focus

Mohammed Salah has a fantastic scoring record. He’s got pace, power, is technically strong. I bumped into him in a store in London and he’s got great temperament.

His success at Liverpool is a great story, after his difficulties at Chelsea. He went and reinvented himself and now is one of the best players in the league.
