Gbadero Toluwalope: For me, I'll say this isn't about Madrid's brilliance but about how poor PSG have been? Time to part with Emery? YES please!

Harry White: So with PSG out, they will sack their manager surely. If that happens, given previous links and his love of the dollar, won't Mourinho be approached? If so, what do United do?

Having not being considered this season, Real Madrid now need to be considered as contenders.

Real Madrid deserved to win the game, a really good performance.

PSG had to be at their very best, but they were not. I am not sure Real Madrid were at their best, but they were 10 times better than they were against Tottenham.

Dan Washbourne: Is it any consolation at all to know that Neymar likely wouldn't have changed the outcome of this?

Stu: The reasons why PSG will not win the Champions League in the next 10 years. Their league is not strong enough. Not all the best players in the world will want to play in the French League. All the best managers are now working in the Premier League.

Anthony David Pletin: Cavani would have thrown his hat into the mix but he missed.

Danny Ings is inches away from scoring but Iker Casillas produces a marvelous save to deny him.

It was a good leap from the striker but his header wasn't quite high enough to loop over the Spaniard.

Is that Casillas' final save in the Champions League?

    Duncan, Leyton.

When are we all going to admit that Liverpool will be title contenders next season? If Virgil van Dijk’s performances reflect his price tag and their front three continue to fire, what’s stopping them? A quality goalkeeper perhaps?
