Real Madrid have played that brilliantly. It took a deflection, but he will claim it.

    GOAL - PSG 1-2 Real Madrid (2-5 agg)published at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Casemiro (80 mins)

It's definitely all over now. It's almost as messy as PSG's goal. The ball breaks to Casemiro, PSG defender Marquinhos throws himself at it in an attempt to block - but the ball hits the Brazilian's back and flies past the PSG keeper.

PSG are showing tonight that money is nothing without experience and adaptability. They’ve looked very one dimensional against a quality Real Madrid team.

Salah is already making an impact. He swings the ball into the box and it finds James Milner but the midfielder's header is straight into the hands of Iker Casillas.

Ryan Lloyd: Why is Salah coming on? What if he gets injured? Why not bring Solanke on to flail wildly?

Johnny Magrinho: Gomez is a centre back but filling in as he’s more defensive than Trent and Clyne is still unavailable. Confident next season Klopp will play Trent/Clyne on the right, Robertson on the left and Gomez and van Dijk in the middle. He’s not played badly so no need to complain!

Amrul Choudhury: Mo Salah to get hamstring injury before Old Trafford game. Heard it here first.

PSG 1-1 Real Madrid (2-4 agg)

Here comes Gareth Bale, who is clearly not seen as a first XI regular by Zinedine Zidane. He replaces goal-shy Karim Benzema.

For PSG, Julian Draxler takes Angel di Maria's place.

Kelly Chuks Casper: It's obvious that people have refused to learn. Write Madrid off in the Champions League at your own peril!

Henock Belete Asfaw: Nobody gave Real Madrid a chance when they match up with PSG including myself. Well, they are proving everybody wrong. Real Madrid does what Real Madrid does, they beat any team they face in the Champions League.

Elliot William Baker: PSG players may be very good, even world class. But how often during a regular season do they have to exercise that quality to win a game? If you don't have to play competitively during your domestic season, they'll struggle to turn it on when backs are to the wall.

As I said earlier, you never feel like Karim Benzema will score a goal now. He runs from the halfway line with no defenders chasing him.

He finally reaches the last defender, Marquinhos, and shoots straight at him. The ball goes wide but the referee didn't even see that it came off the Brazilian and awards a goal kick.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

Interesting change from Jurgen Klopp. Brings off Sadio Mane, which makes sense - but it's Mohamed Salah who comes on for the final 17 minutes.

Dan Washbourne: The fact that Liverpool can play with their foot entirely off the gas tonight is testament to just how good a job they did in Portugal. Nice not to have any nerves at all for the second leg.

Stavros Makrozachopo: I don't understand how people could possibly take seriously PSG as a favorite to win the Champions League.

Michael Reid: Poor discipline from Verratti there to be sent off. But to be fair to him; it was a clear foul on him. Classic case of a referee siding with a Spanish club in the Champions League.
