PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

It has been a really enjoyable first half played at a fantastic pace. The two best chances for Real Madrid with the keeper saving both. The right side has big gaps for PSG to get in on the left side of the Real Madrid defence, but the final ball has not been good enough.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto (5-0 agg)

Liverpool failed to have a single shot on target in the first half of a game for only the second time this season - the last was against Chelsea in the Premier League on 25 November (a 1-1 draw in the end).

They've had three off target today. Porto have only had one shot, also off target.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

So far, so good for the European champions.

Henock Belete Asfaw: Benzema is no more the player he used to be. What better chance can he get?

Alan Johnson: Angel Di Maria is such an average footballer. Always flatters to deceive.

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

Real keeper Keylor Navas clears and PSG striker Edinson Cavani bravely throws his head in the way - but it loops wide as he had no control of the ball.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto (5-0 agg)

Liverpool are just cruising into the next round here. Don't think the record Champions League score over two legs is under threat.

  8. Postpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

An even bigger chance as Kylian Mbappe, in a similar position to Angel di Maria a minute ago, shoots at Keylor Navas.

But Edinson Cavani, PSG's all-time top goalscorer, was unmarked six yards out. If Mbappe had squared it, PSG would have halved the deficit.

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

Big chance. Marco Verratti unselfishly tries to slide in Angel di Maria and his low shot from a tight angle is saved by Keylor Navas - at the third or fourth attempt.

I think Edinson Cavani, who was trying to pinch the ball from the keeper was offside anyway.

Del: The atmosphere at Parc des Princes sounds incredible! Let's hope the game matches it.

Matt Birtwistle: What a ridiculous comment about Klopp being a cheerleader. He took Dortmund pretty far in Europe on much less of a budget than he has now, and Liverpool are the most potent team in the competition this year.

Rezaa Sait: Klopp should have played the first 11 that he'll play on Saturday to give them some momentum ahead of the game.

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

The Karim Benzema of the past would make this 1-0. But 2017-18 Benzema, nope.

Marcelo plays in him on goal, the defence are nowhere. But as he closes in on Alphonse Areola, you never really expect him to score. And sure enough his effort is saved.

A bit of pinball from the corner and Dani Carvajal tries an ambitious 25-yard volley which flies wide.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

Some nice build-up play from Liverpool but Sadio Mane is offside as he gathers Roberto Firmino's flick into the box.

This sort of performance is exactly what I expected from Liverpool tonight. No danger from us or the opposition. Dead rubber

So people are all 'Klopp Out' because Liverpool aren't leading against FC Porto after half an hour...

This Liverpool team are better than the 2005 team. Van Dijk and Robertson steady up the defence and make them much more solid at the back. Going forward is sublime. They have every chance of winning the Champions League this season!

  15. 'PSG need to change something'published at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

It has been 100 mph for the entire game, but it has been quality. PSG need to change something. They are playing a strict 4-3-3, so no one is coming on to threaten Real Madrid.

It is three lines, no-one has broken from midfield and got beyond the lines and somebody needs to do that to get behind the defence.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto (5-0 agg)

Liverpool are starting to create chances now and Dejan Lovren heads James Milner's deep free-kick over the bar from about six yards.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic comes in with a sliding tackle from behind on Angel di Maria. He certainly took more of the man than the ball. Yellow card.

  18. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto (5-0 agg)

First major chance of this game as Sadio Mane - who scored a hat-trick in the first leg - hits the post.

He controls a pass from James Milner - who has assisted more goals than anybody else in the Champions League this season - and shoots across Iker Casillas' goal with the ball coming back off the woodwork.

Miracle Roch: The thing about Ronaldo is that he can be such a frightening player even at 33. He can still play on the wings, still had control, pace and skill. Terrific.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

A half-chance for Roberto Firmino as Adam Lallana delivers a nice ball in from the right but the number nine is beaten in the air by Porto skipper Felipe.

That was an important clearance as any touch from Firmino surely would have sent the ball goalwards.
