Hassan Anfield: Both in terms of defending and attacking Trent Alexander-Arnold's far better than Joe Gomez.

Lotak: Are the two games making up for the first legs's excitement by being 0-0s? Does this mean the Utd v Sevilla game will be a goal fest?

Mike, Gairloch: The only 'duty' Klopp has is to get Liverpool into the next round.Constantly berated for being gung-ho when it isn't needed and not managing games. When he manages games, vice versa. It's almost like people need to fit their own Klopp narrative.

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto

Majeed Waris strikes the first shot on target in this game and it was a fairly good one for Porto.

Loris Karius dives low to his right and pushes it wide for a corner.

He was never going to miss that. Brilliant header down, but all questions are to be asked of Dani Alves. Poor from Dani Alves, he might have killed his team's chances in the Champions League this season.

    This guy.

Has Cristiano Ronaldo put this tie to bed? PSG need three goals now to force extra time.

Great play by Marco Asensio on the left, he finds Lucas Vazquez and his cross is powered into the back of the net by Ronaldo's head.

That's 15 goals in his last nine games. At the age of 33. One of the all-time greats.

Cristiano Ronaldo's first sniff at goal and it's almost in the back of the net. Amongst all the smoke from the flares, he throws himself at Marcelo's left-wing cross but his header goes just wide.

A moment of class there as the Liverpool fans clap Casillas in to the Kop goal on potentially his last Champions League game. Lovely stuff.

Would love to see a win but Liverpool are managing this game perfectly either way so far. Bigger fish to fry on Saturday.

Lots of red flares coming from one of the stands behind the goal. And I mean lots. The referee holds up play for about a minute but we can continue.

I'm sure Uefa will be giving them a fine for that.

Adam Lallana, making his first start in two months, crosses from the left and James Milner slides the ball wide - he's slipped up as he's hit it.

Gordon Macgregor: PSG look like a side that’s had it way too easy in their own league and can’t step any more - sad!

David Robinson: The tie was over weeks ago. Liverpool knew that. Porto knew that. How did people expect the second leg to go? It was always going to be a quiet game.

You have a duty to try and win the game. This is poor from Liverpool and Klopp. I expect a better second half or I'm off to bed!

    Ant, Birmingham

Liverpool aren't 0-0 at half-time time. They're 5-0 at three quarter time. Kickaround.

    Declan, Omagh

Liverpool to win champions league? No chance unless they get lucky like in Istanbul.

  18. 'Liverpool fans might be more interested in other ties'published at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

    Liverpool 0-0 Porto (5-0 agg)

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

Exactly as expected. A really rather humdrum first half with Liverpool having killed this tie off in the first leg. That's not to say Liverpool haven't tried to impose themselves again but they're not at full strength and it doesn't feel like they're at full tilt either with a trip to Old Trafford coming up on Saturday.

Sadio Mane hit the post with a sweet strike after Alberto Moreno initially did some great work down the left-hand side to get the move started but that's been about it.

I think Liverpool fans are probably more interested in the results of all the other quarter-final ties over the next nine days to see who they might meet in the quarter-finals.

  19. 'Emery has 45 minutes to save his job?'published at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2018

PSG 0-0 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)

    Ian Dennis
Radio 5 live senior football reporter in Paris

PSG have scored three or more goals in each of their last eight matches at home but face a massive 45 minutes to turn this around.

Too much patience and not enough penetration means PSG only troubled Keylor Navas just before half-time.

The onus will be on Unai Emery to change it otherwise a European exit will ultimately mean a change of manager for PSG.

Critics of Klopp’s team selection tonight are forgetting the importance of his loyalty to the squad players who could yet play an important role this season and next - Lovren, Moreno, Gomez, Can etc all getting another Champions League game under their belts. He plays the long game!
