Real try to start a quick counter but Cristiano Ronaldo's cross-field pass out to Lucas Vazquez is too far in front of the right winger and goes out for a throw-in. Ronaldo looks irritated. Probably can't believe he hasn't scored in 28 minutes based on his current form.

Angel di Maria steps up 30 metres from goal, but his shot is deflected over the bar by the wall. The corner is cleared.

Kylian Mbappe is squeezed out of it by Casemiro and Sergio Ramos, and wins a free-kick. Dangerous position.

Neymar territory? Oh wait.

It would have been an exceptional finish from Sadio Mane who acrobatically threw himself at Joe Gomez's cross and not only did well to reach it but also to very nearly squeeze it in underneath the crossbar.

Porto fans have certainly seen enough of his finishing skills in this tie and that has been the only moment of any excitement whatsoever in a pretty drab first half.

Angel di Maria's pass to Marco Verratti is poor and the PSG midfielder has to slide in on Casemiro to try to win the ball back. He fouls the Real Madrid man and goes into the book. Di Maria can claim an assist on that yellow card.

KoloKK: With Salah on the bench today, Mane could actually play on his favored right wing today.

Eloise Cropp: I think Liverpool have as good a chance as any to make it all the way. They have improved at the back and going forward they are phenomenal.

A great save by Alphonse Areola keeps PSG in this tie. Marco Asensio's right-wing cross finds Sergio Ramos, whose close-range shot is kept out by PSG's keeper.

Dejan Lovren gives the ball away for Liverpool and Majeed Waris is played through on goal by a team-mate but Reds keeper Loris Karius rushes off his line to keep it out.

Now Sadio Mane has a chance but he pokes the ball over from six yards with a flying volley. It's starting to open up.

PSG right-back Dani Alves takes an ambitious cross from deep, which Dani Carvajal controls on his chest - the Real defender thinks he has all the time in the world but eventually has to get it away in a panic as Edinson Cavani closes in.

Now Kylian Mbappe has a shot which is wide of the near post.

PSG will be delighted with this as it's such an open game. They are not getting opportunities to get scoring chances, but they are getting space.

I wish there was something to tell you about this game. Liverpool are having most of the ball but nobody has even attempted a shot yet.
