Lorcan Stakem: Juventus have went to hell and back tonight. What a match!

Andrew Worby: Hold on, I thought Spurs had won the Champions League already? At least that’s what their fans led me to believe after the first leg.

Oasis blasts out of the speakers at the Etihad at the final whistle and the lyrics are very appropriate: "You've got to roll with it".

I think most of the home fans will - they have just been beaten at home for the first time since December 2016 but they still go through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Basel's supporters can go home happy too. They are currently bouncing up and down in tribute to their team, who have gone over to salute them. They are out but great work from the Swiss side's players and fans tonight.

Safe to say that Manchester City fans won't be crying over their own 2-1 home defeat as much as the Spurs fans...

Juventus had to change it, they weren't threatening enough.

Higuain took his chance when he got it, and you have to say the second goal was beautifully worked.

Spurs will feel unlucky, especially after that Harry Kane chance in the last minute.

Pochettino is a dreamer, but this turned into a nightmare. They've been put out by a side who were cuter, more street-wise, and took their chances.

Incredible scenes as the Juventus players celebrate with the away fans at Wembley. The wild-eyed, fist-pumping Gianlugi Buffon almost leaps into the crowd as he urges the Juve supporters to up the volume. No danger of that not happening. They can probably be heard in Dalston.

I'm proud of Spurs today. They fought well, but so did Juve. No shame in going out like that.

These Juventus lads were born to defend. Giorgio Chiellini, after a sticky start, was colossus at the back, he heads away footballs like I eat chips.

You can't help but feel sorry for Spurs. Naive? Or just hustled by a streetwise Juve side?

What are the consequences for Tottenham, now they’re out of the Champions League?

What’s holding Spurs back from reaching the next level?

Did Mauricio Pochettino get his tactics wrong (and not shut up shop while leading 1-0)?

What positives can Tottenham take from this performance? They were just a post-width’s away from taking the tie to extra-time and with Son in particular impressing…

I'm shell-shocked, and so are the Spurs players.

It was three minutes of sheer madness. They were in total control in the first half.

Juventus love defending, they defended for their lives, and they saw the game out pretty well.

SPURS ARE OUT OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

The home players are inconsolable, Son Heung-min slumping to the Wembley turf, head bowed and legs crossed.

Wild celebrations from their Juventus counterparts. Gianluigi Buffon almost hugging the life out of Gonzalo Higuain.

Route one. Hugo Lloris boots up a goal kick, finds Kieran Trippier and his low cross is gathered by Gianluigi Buffon.

    It's all over.

Manchester City book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals, but lose a home game for the first time since 2016.

Is that an attempt to coax a goal out of Harry Kane, Helles?

Fernando Llorente, who Spurs signed from Juve of course, wins his first aerial battle, but Erik Lamela can't pounce on the knockdown. Then Christian Eriksen's shot is blocked....
