The last time Tottenham made the quarter-finals of the Champions League they ended up losing to Real Madrid 5-0 on aggregate in 2011.

If Spurs want to reach the last eight again they will need to start the game much better than they did in Turin. I was there three weeks ago and the nerves got the better of them for the first 10 minutes.

Juventus will be kicking themselves that they let Pochettino’s side back in it especially as Higuain struck the cross bar with a penalty on the stroke of half time.

Higuain was a doubt for this game but he was laughing and joking when we saw him in the tunnel at Wembley yesterday.

Dybala is back but Federico Bernardeschi is missing with a knee injury. He impressed in Turin.

Manchester City make six changes from Sunday's 1-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday - with the tie practically over.

Teenager winger Phil Foden starts, while Yaya Toure is also in the starting line-up for the first time since January. Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo , defenders John Stones and Danilo and striker Gabriel Jesus come in.

First-team regulars Ederson, Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi, Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero all drop out.

Basel leave both of their top scorers, Ricky van Wolfswinkel - once of Norwich - and Albian Ajeti, on the bench. Youngster Dimitri Oberlin leads the line up front - as he did in the first leg.

Are Spurs classed as favourites tonight? The bookies think so... just. Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon has other ideas...

"It will be an uphill battle but sometimes you can get caught out going downhill so we are up for the challenge," says the Italy legend.

"Tottenham quite clearly have a lot of great attributes, they have a tried and trusted style of play.

"They like to attack, they can be physical, they are good technically, but their style allows the opposition a few chances, so I think the fans are in for a treat."

Hope you've got your popcorn, Phil (and everyone else). Even Gigi Buffon is predicting a cracker...

Spurs have to approach this with confidence, but also with balance. They don't have to force the issue.

They are playing against a street-wise team who will not rush. Juventus have match-winners.

It will be interesting, this isn't easy for Tottenham to approach. They don't want to be gung-ho and then give a cheap goal away - are we going to see the same Spurs that we saw in Turin?

Robin Mark Cooper: I’m inclined to think that an early Juve goal could kill the tie but they scored two early in Turin, it’s wide open for me this one.

Patrick: This match should be the finals...can't actually predict what's gonna happen tonight, but my guts say Tottenham might qualify.

It feels like it's a really big night in the modern history of Tottenham Hotspur, particularly in Mauricio Pochettino's reign.

If they get through, they will be feted, but if they go out, Pochettino will face questions as to whether this team has it in them to become a trophy-winning team.

Hello! Anyone out there still doubting Tottenham? Mauricio Pochettino's side have been questioned on every step of their Champions League journey so far - but have come up with the goods every time.

Of course the job is far from done. Italian juggernauts Juventus, twice beaten Champions League finalists in the past three seasons, are not keen on being bumped out of Europe by these upstarts.

Tonight, for the first time really, Spurs are thought to be in the driving seat. How will they handle that? Could that expectation be their undoing?
