Wigan v Man City (19:55 GMT)

    Roberto Martinez
    Belgium manager on BBC One

It is a big ask for Wigan today against Manchester City. If we saw this fixture in the league, we would say it is impossible. But this is the FA Cup. More that, they are a winning team, having a very good season, you never know. They need to be perfect, while also hoping that City are not at their very best.

  3. Hoping for a 1-0 win!published at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2018

Wigan v Man City (19:55 GMT)

Wigan manager Paul Cook: "I think it is a fantastic occasion for the town and we are delighted to be hosting them tonight.

"It is always a good boost for the lads. Manchester City are a different level to most teams in the Premier League but from our point of view the minute the tie was made we must have a belief of how we can beat them.

"Hopefully we win 1-0 and I come in after the game and I tell you how much of a genius I am."

I was surprised with Guardiola’s team selection, it was stronger than I thought it would be. These are players who can win the game.

It’s not necessarily always about giving other players a chance in this competition, he wants to get the game won first which is the way to do it.

He’s got players like Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz on the bench to bring on after that.

Neil: Wayyyy to many writing Wigan off already tonight. Make no mistake, this will be a tough night for Pep.

Jonny: Pep Guardiola is in Wigan right now plotting how to put out the fire that is Will Grigg. That'll do me.

I just walked past Pep Guardiola, who was deep in conversation with one of his coaching staff in the away dug-out while his team warmed up in front of him.

Manchester City's previous two managers, Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini, both lost to Wigan in the FA Cup - in 2013 and 2014 - so I would imagine at least part of the discussion involved how he can avoid becoming a third.

You couldn't move for hearing 'Will Grigg's on fire' chants during Euro 2016 but, almost two years on, is he still on fire?

Well, he has scored 15 goals in 36 appearances so far this season, including two as the Latics dumped West Ham out of the FA Cup.

The fire is still burning bright.

I’m sure most, if not all, would watch the game between Rochdale and Tottenham, looking at their position in League One, what they’ve done to teams in that division, you can draw on all that.

But if you’re a Wigan player you’re fearful when you hear these names on the team sheet.

Of course they will want to test themselves against best, but they will be fearful when their up against Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Leroy Sane; there will be some apprehension.

How they start the game is important. What Wigan boss Paul Cook has done in most matches is open with attacking football, so he’ll go the way he wants to play.

You have to be of my generation to remember Dave Whelan breaking his leg in the FA Cup Final. Playing for Blackburn as I recall in the days before substitutes. Basically finished his career so he went off to start his business career. Winning the cup with Wigan must have been wonderful compensation.

Tonight could end up being particularly significant for Sergio Aguero.

The striker has scored 198 goals for Manchester City, meaning two tonight would take him on to the double century mark.

Considering he has scored five goals in his last two games, you wouldn't bet against him bagging a brace tonight.
