  1. CLOSE!published at 40 mins

    Burnley 0-1 Everton

That Seamus Coleman challenge was a bad one actually. Theo Walcott now leaves a bit on Stephen Ward and Burnley have a free-kick.

They should score! Aaron Lennon turns the ball back into the middle and Ben Mee almost has a tap-in but he can't sort his feet out.

Ashley Westwood is booked for a challenge in midfield moments after a similar one from Seamus Coleman goes unpunished. It's great to see Coleman out there mixing it again. I was on duty when he had that sickening injury and I feared the worst.

Daryl Wing: What a save from Pickford. Do the right thing, Gareth.

Michael Keane, another man on the England bubble, gets himself in a positional mess from a long punt over the top but he does at least recover well to then block Ashley Barnes' effort. Cenk Tosun plays a great crossfield ball and Theo Walcott - a man surely out of England contention now? - has a shot saved.

Barnes then tests Jordan Pickford again! This game has had way more than its fair share of efforts so far.

Everton look confident today. Burnley are trying to get out but the centre-halves are there. They aren't letting Burnley settle and play their own game.

  7. Pickford for Englandpublished at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2018

Jordan Pickford is a keeper well in contention for the number one England shirt. What a save.

I like the way he ushers his back four or five out as soon as the ball goes forward.

What was that about Jordan Pickford starting for England? Gareth Southgate is in the stands, get your notebook out.

What a save that is, superb reactions to paw away Ashley Barnes' header from close range. That is a very very good save indeed.

Cuco Martina is not a left-back and he's in real trouble here. Burnley have so much time and space down the right.

This is the first time big Sam has played two strikers up top. Instantly rewarded.

That is the most frustrating thing about Theo Walcott. He's got pace, a great right foot, but he doesn't try to use his left foot! Just trust yourself.

It's opening up now! Burnley have a shot charged down before Theo Walcott is in at the other end, his finish is tame though. Very tame.

Cenk Tosun is the first Turkish player to score in the Premier League since Jem Karacan in May 2013 (for Reading v Fulham).

Calvert-Lewin is just trying to make something out of nothing. He leaves the ground and lunges in. He's a little late but there's no intent.

Everton have done so well. When they've got the ball, they're being brave.

Ooof, that's going to hurt. Dominic Calvert-Lewin stretches after taking a bad touch and lamps Stephen Ward. In the book you go.

Everton have grown in confidence with that goal, as they now control possession for a lengthy spell. The Toffees are level on points with Burnley as it stands.

And they do go in search of a second, Cenk Tosun again on target from about 18 yards, his left-footed drive held by Nick Pope this time though.

Burnley have never won a Premier League game under Sean Dyche when they have conceded first. Time to make history lads?

Pope had no chance. A good downward header from Tosun, he deserves that goal - he's played well so far!

Everton have got to go for it now. One goal isn't going to help them, they need another one.

Bang! Great header! Cenk Tosun is off the mark for Everton and it's a really fine finish. Dion Dublin will be loving it.

Theo Walcott's cross is helped on by Seamus Coleman and the Turkish forward is all alone to bury it, low past Nick Pope.

Wow, what great play from Burnley! It was just about to fall on Barnes' toe. The keeper just got a touch, the slightest of fingertips from Pickford to take it from Barnes' foot.
