I think Arsenal just about deserve to lead at half-time. There's been many opportunities for both sides, they've worked the ball into good areas but have lacked that bit of quality when it's really mattered.

Arsenal probably the more pleased to hear the whistle when it comes. Shkodran Mustafi's header separates the sides, but Watford have been the more likely over the past 10 minutes.

Watford still pushing at the end of the half. Petr Cech has to dive low to his left to push away Richarlison's header. The resulting corner causes havoc in the Arsenal defence, too.

Two minutes added on to the end of the first half.

I'll give you 5/10 for that lookalike.

Watford have soaked up a bit of pressure but there's something in this game for them, if they can link things up when they win the ball and go forward. Both teams have got into some good areas but they've come up short. They've been opportunities you'd expect them to do better with.

Arsenal are under pressure here, some frantic defending. It's more luck than judgement that Rob Holding's clearance drops on to the roof of the net. Watford finishing the half strongly.

Mesut Ozil, by the way, has become the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League assists, doing so in just 141 games and breaking the record previously held by Eric Cantona, who did it in 143. Perhaps my memory is failing me, but I'd forgotten that Cantona was such a supreme assister.

Henock Belete Asfaw: Arsenal has been wasteful. Should have scored 3 or 4 goals.

Garreth Frank: Elneny is rarely brilliant, but he’s never terrible. That’s more than can be said of many of our players, including one central midfielder in particular.

Byzantine's Legacy: Ozil is bossing the game.

When Arsenal took that early lead, it had the feeling of a long afternoon for Watford, but the Hornets have competed well since then. Yes, they have had to defend, but have done well to get back in numbers. When they go forward, they have the tools to cause problems for the Gunners.

The real beauty of that picture is that you got O'Neill to pose in front of the fridge.

A rumpus here. Mesut Ozil is on the floor holding his ankle, while Troy Deeney is angrily pointing fingers. It runs out that Ozil got a rake of the Achilles tendon by Sebastian Prodl, accidentally in all probability. Nothing to see here.

Karnezis does brilliantly because Ozil opens himself up and tries to do him with his eyes.

End to end. Mesut Ozil through on goal, dancing past the challenge of the last defender. Only the keeper to beat and Orestis Karnezis dives the wrong way, but still saves with his legs. Great stop.
