Maurico Pochettino has changed his full-backs today - with Serge Aurier and Danny Rose replacing Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies, while the third change from the side which lost to Juventus sees Victor Wanyama preferred to Eric Dier in the middle of the park.

It will be interesting to see how Bournemouth line up - they have tended to play three central defenders against the "big six" this season, but today's XI are capable of playing in two or three different formations - their only change is a like-for-like swap in attack as Lys Mousset replaces Joshua King as central striker Callum Wilson's main support.

At least Arsenal will go into the Milan game with some heart and spirit. If ever anyone needed a low-key game, it was Arsenal, and they just got it. They did enough, but they did no more than they had to. They had a couple of scares, especially with the penalty, but in the end they were comfortable winners.

It feels like the sting has gone out of this one, like we're ticking down the clock until Arsenal take their three points. How different it was before Arsenal's second. or what might have been had Troy Deeney stuck that penalty.

Karnezis should do much better. There's no real pace on Mkhitaryan's shot and it goes straight through him. OK, he's made two good saves, but that wasn't one of his best moments.

That's the ball game. Henrikh Mkhitaryan gets his first Premier League goal for Arsenal, to ensure there really is no way back for Watford. Arsenal advance down the left. When the cross comes in, it's parried to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who squares to his old Dortmund team-mate to finish. That's Mkhitaryan's last act of the day, with Jack Wilshere joining the fray.

Eventful day for Shkodran Mustafi. He scored the goal, now he's had to go off injured, replaced by Calum Chambers. It wasn't clear what was wrong with him, but Arsenal didn't mess around in pulling the trigger on the substitution.

Had Watford scored that penalty it would be a very different game. As it is, Arsenal can relax now. For the neutral, it would have made it a good finish. But it's the last thing Arsene Wenger would have wanted. I'll tell you one thing, the Arsenal fans celebrated that more than the two goals.
