Another yellow card. This time it is Roberto Firmino who goes in the book for having one too many nibbles at Kevin de Bruyne.

Manchester City fans scream for a penalty as Raheem Sterling goes to ground after he tries to wriggle past Andrew Roberston. Sterling went to ground far too easily and the referee is right to ignore the calls for a spot kick.

Roma are really giving this a go as the hosts go close again through Patrik Schick. This time he connects well with a cross but plants his downward header just wide of the post.

Lovely move started and finished by Kevin de Bruyne as he sprays the ball out wide to Bernardo Silva before breaking towards the edge of the area to meet the return pass but his low strike is held by Loris Karius.

So far Liverpool's concentration levels have been good.
