Man City 1-1 Liverpool 1-4 agg

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I've watched Man City a lot this season, and in the final third this is the worst I have seen them play. Their passing, crossing and decision making very poor and you don't often say that about Man City

Man City 1-1 Liverpool 1-4 agg

Plenty of huff and puff from Manchester City but the quality really hasn't been there in the final third. They've had 16 shots on goal but only three on target and with 18 minutes to go, it's hard to see them scoring four goals.

Joe: We’ve equalised, City need to score four more - and yet I still feel sick. How does that work?!

Mollie: Liverpool are a totally different team when they play the attacking football that they are so, so good at. They always look uncomfortable when sitting deep, and this game is completely proving that.

Mo Salah's fitness was crucial to Liverpool's plans and goal number 39 of the season showed exactly why - that must surely clinch this quarter-final for Liverpool.

It is like the hope has been sucked out of Etihad Stadium after that goal. Even City's play seems to have slowed down.
