    Chelsea 1-1 Huddersfield

It's a back 10 for Town now. A line of red and black as Chelsea throw the proverbial at it. Some great close-up shots of fans in the away end. Not enjoying this one bit. Yet...

  4. CLOSE!published at 21:16 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Man City 2-1 Brighton

Huge chance for the Seagulls! Not good again from Claudio Bravo as he pats a cross back into the mixer, Anthony Knockaert should really score but on the stretch he can only toe it over the bar.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:15 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Totteenham 1-0 Newcastle

Great chance for Newcastle! Spurs' defence is AWOL as DeAndre Yedlin's cross pinballs around inside the area, Hugo Lloris and Ayoze Perez combine to trip Matt Ritchie up and he gets neither a tap-in or a penalty...

Anon: Harry Kane’s goal was vital. And following on from Terry (RE: 2102), I can see spurs now blowing this in the last minute.

Dan: I think Kane may have touched that!! #COYS

    Man City 2-1 Brighton

You get the feeling every City fan inside the stadium is basically hoping for a Yaya Toure goal now to see the night through. Penalty? Free-kick?

Can Huddersfield continue to hold on? They are 23 minutes away from safety...

  12. Postpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Arsenal

It's a nicely stretched game at the King Power. Jamie Vardy thinks he's in and gone only to see the offside flag. He's steaming about it too.

  16. 'Poor defending by Huddersfield'published at 21:06 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 1-1 Huddersfield

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It has hit Alonso in the face. It's a great header but I don't think he knows anything about it. You have to say that is poor defending and now Huddersfield are going to come under all sorts of pressure.

  17. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Newcastlepublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Harry Kane (50 mins)

    Harry KaneImage source, Reuters

I gave him a small slice of stick in the first half so let's hand out a nice round dollop of praise - what an absolutely lovely goal from Harry Kane.

Dele Alli and Kane are involved in a flowing attack before Son sets the ball back to Kane on the edge of the area and with barely a backlift and barely a glance he flicks a curler into the top corner.

Just a peach of a goal.

  18. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 1-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Marcos Alonso (62 mins)

    Hold the phone...

That is a huge stroke of luck for Chelsea as they pull back level. Cesar Azpilicueta's cross from the right is belted clear by a defender into the face of Marcos Alonso and in. He knew next to nothing about it. The very least he could do would be to hand back his goal bonus.

As it stands Huddersfield are still safe...

Terry: Been a Spurs fan for the last 30 years and I can assure you what will happen in the next 45 mins . Chelsea will equalise and then score in the last minute and Spurs will lose 1-0 to Newcastle (but Poch will still be proud of the team ... ). Been here so many times !!!!
