  3. SAFE as it standspublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

A little reminder that as it stands, Huddersfield Town are safe.

The last relegation place would go to either Swansea or Southampton. And Swansea would have the slimmest of slim chances.

Is that a World Cup on the horizon? Yep, England's best player is developing a question mark over his form and fitness alright...

Harry Kane is clean through on goal but doesn't even connect with the bouncing ball. Not great.

Dominic: Am I the only spurs fan starting to feel a hideous sense of inevitability about finishing fifth...?

David: Tottenham will blow it, always do when pressure on, it's built in. We could buy Ronaldo & after a while he will be content with 5th place

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

Yep, I was waylaid there by a goal elsewhere, but Chelsea got their collective undergarments in a twist when they weren't allowed to take that corner in stoppage time. Quite what they expected Lee Mason to do once he had blown for half time though...

  7. 'Ridiculous decision'published at 20:36 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    HT: Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a ridiculous decision. The referee gave the corner and allowed Willian to run all the way over and put the ball on the spot before blowing for half-time. Referees don't help themselves some times.

Lewis: 2 minutes injury time at the bridge... Shocking considering the Huddersfield keeper took 25 minutes over goal kicks. Ref has lost the plot.

Dan: Why has Lee Mason not sent half the Chelsea team and manager off? That's so embarrassing getting that worked up about a corner, get worked up about how abysmal you've been all season instead of blaming a ref. Pathetic.

GOAL - Man City 2-1 Brightonpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Bernardo Silva (34 mins)

It's another assist for Leroy Sane, as City hold their width and find him on the left. He flashes in a low cross which doesn't actually pick anyone out this time, but Bernardo Silva is backing up. One touch and hit, low and hard, into the net.

That's a record goal - 104 league goals for the season (ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR) eclipsing the 103 Chelsea got in 2009-10...

The Arsenal, down to 10 men early on remember, are having a good spell of possession but still look fragile at the back. Adrien Silva is down in pain after a clash of knees in midfield.

Unlucky! Ngolo Kante plays in Alvaro Morata with a great ball, a defender thinks about pulling his shirt but lets go and Morata goes around the keeper but the angle is wide and he pulls the ball back but it's cleared...

  20. Toure the master passer... but he is yet to try his luckpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Man City 1-1 Brighton

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

It is clear what the Manchester City fans want to see tonight, as well as a win, from the cries of "shooooooot" whenever Yaya Toure gets the ball, no matter how far from goal.

Toure is yet to oblige the City fans with an effort at goal but he has barely put a foot wrong so far in midfield, playing the most passes (40) and with the second-highest accuracy of any outfield player - 97% - behind only Vincent Kompany, who has 100% from 32 passes so far.

Those stats are no fluke by the way... before tonight, from 20,000+ passes in 229 Premier League games since 2010, Toure had a passing accuracy of 89%.

My maths is a bit rusty, but I make that around 18,000 successful passes... which is probably what Pep Guardiola would like to see his team play in a single game.
