    Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Spurs with the first chance of the night as Son puts in a low cross which is crying out for a meaningful touch. Harry Kane couldn't find one.

THINK OF THE FF POINTS MAN!

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

Danny Welbeck is the sacrificial lamb, unhappy at the fact as well, as Shkodran Mustafi comes on to 'shore up' the Arsenal defence.

    Sure.

  3. Postpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Man City 0-0 Brighton

Brighton are all in mustard yellow tonight and they will be keen to put on a show. A drizzly evening in Manchester.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:03 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

Leicester are back playing like champions, Arsenal are back playing like Arsenal as they leave Harry Maguire open from a free-kick and Petr Cech has to push his volley over the bar.

Now Ainsley Maitland-Niles is down in a heap.

  5. A year on... one last Yaya goal?published at 20:02 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

It is almost exactly a year since Yaya Toure's last Premier League start for Manchester City, in a 3-1 win over West Brom at Etihad Stadium, that also saw the last of his 82 goals for the club.

I think everyone here bar the Brighton fans would love to see him get on the scoresheet again but, even if he doesn't get among the goals, his name is going to be sung an awful lot over the next couple of hours or so.

Toure got a huge roar and a standing ovation when his name was read out before kick-off and the first chant, to the tune of 'Delilah' had started before he emerged from the tunnel. I am sure it won't be long until we hear a rendition of 'Yaya/Kolo' too, even if he says he doesn't like it...

  7. 'Ludicrous'published at 20:00 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live

That Leicester goal came from Arsenal trying to play out in their own area. Absolutely ludicrous.

  8. RED CARD - Konstantinos Mavropanospublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

It's all happening at Leicester. Youngster Konstantinos Mavropanos is caught in possession right from kick-off by Kelechi Iheanacho, who toes it away and would be in on goal before he is rugby tackled by the Greek.

He's a long way from home but that's a red card...

  9. 'I don't know how he has missed it'published at 20:00 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

Incredible chance for Rudiger. I don't know how he has missed it. He goes with his right foot and all he had to do was go with his left.

  10. goal

GOAL - Leicester 1-0 Arsenalpublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Kelechi Iheanacho (14 mins)

Comic timing from young Jack as Arsenal fall behind. A cracking finish this after some rather sleepy defending from Arsenal. A ball to the back post is nodded back down and Kelechi Iheanacho keeps his knee over the ball in textbook fashion to drive through a crowd and in.

    Good strike.

  11. Best wishes from Jack...published at 19:58 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

Jack Wilshere has more pressing matters to be concerned with than his side;'s game at Leicester...

  12. SITTER!published at 19:58 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

    How has that stayed out?!

Goodness me, that's the first doggy life for Huddersfield tonight. Cesar Azpilicueta flicks on a corner and from what, two yards?, Antonio Rudiger slashes wide.

A rare moment where any person reading this can say with justification: "I would have scored that."

Vivek: Yaya Toure along with Aguero, Kompany and Silva are 4 pillars who built City into what they are today, so Yaya deserves every appreciation he gets today!

Pete: Yaya to Burnley? Maybe - but how about Wolves? They have a big-money backer and a big-name player with big pitch-presence and 8 years Prem Lg experience would be very attractive

Man City v Brighton (20:00 BST)

Yaya Toure leads Manchester City through their latest guard of honour as a huge flag in his honour is unveiled. The Etihad is rocking tonight.

    Kolo in the crowd?

  15. Postpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

Here come the players at Spurs, and at Man City. Time to get the boys on the baize.

  16. Postpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

There's a goal in the air - for the boys in blue. Willian flashes a low shot just wide. Jonas Lossl makes the 'had it covered' gesture.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:53 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

Good move! Arsenal at their fluent best as they feed the ball eventually to Alex Iwobi, who has the ball rather stuck under his feet but manages to dig out a shot which is well parried by Eldin Jakupovic.

I still don't know what to really make of Iwobi. One to keep or time to move on?

  19. 'He is still a great player'published at 19:52 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

Man City v Brighton (20:00 BST)

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live

Yaya Toure is still a great player. I watched him a few weeks ago against Swansea and his pace, power and range of passing were still all there. Arguably for me, he is in the top-six Premier League midfielders of all time.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:52 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

Just the 87% possession in the opening five minutes for Chelsea. This is an understandable, but dangerous gameplan from Huddersfield. Can you sit off for a full 90?

Marcos Alonso winds up for the first shot of the night but Jonas Lossl beats it clear.
