Joshua: What a surprise, we give Bravo a game in the league and he produces a howler for their first chance.

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

Speaking of poor goalkeeping, Eldin Jakupovic flaps at a corner for Leicester and the Gunners had a miscued effort just wide. Not a great night between the posts so far...

  3. 'It's so quiet in the stadium'published at 20:22 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

There is no intention to try and score a goal by Huddersfield. It is so quiet in the stadium even though Chelsea are having all of the possession.

  4. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-1 Brightonpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leo Ulloa (20 mins)

Ah Claudio Bravo, how we've missed your comedy stylings in goal this season. Brighton come forwards and play a nice ball through to Davy Propper but there's no real danger, until Bravo for some reason chases him out of the area like a dog spotting the postman. Just stay on your line!

He's well out of position, Propper evades him and stands up a cross for Leo Ulloa to head into the now unguarded net.

Bravo then has the cheek to point his figure to his temples in a 'concentrate lads!' gesture.

    Man City 1-0 Brighton

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a great finish by Danilo and it was fantastic play by Man City, but I'm just wondering if it was borderline offside?

  7. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

Alvaro Morata has gone close for Chelsea who are still dominant, he shoots on the turn but straight at Jonas Lossl. Again, so far so good for teh visitors. If it stays like this they will be playing Cardiff next season .

Drew: Thanks for the clarification. My Holy Trinity U8 Lions are better than Arsenal

John: errr! I don’t teach my U8’s to just clear it from their box thank you very much

  9. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-0 Brightonpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Danilo (16 mins)

A lovely, lovely goal, as City score a record-equalling 103rd goal of the season (ONE HUNDRED AND THREE).

Leroy Sane spots a gap in the Brighton midfield, inside his own half mind, and with one step he's through and away, like Jonah Lomu between the props. He then finds the perfect pass to slot in Danilo, and the auxiliary right-back then finds a cracking finish low into the net.

    Brilliant goal.

  10. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

Leicester are all over Arsenal. All over them. Jamie Vardy should bury a volley but he's offside anyway before a flowing move sees the Foxes waste a three-on-two breakaway.

    There's goals out there...

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Great effort! Jonjo Shelvey takes the free-kick, up and over the wall, beats Hugo Lloris and clunks away off the outside of the post.

  12. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Decent opening for Newcastle and Ayoze Perez after he shoulder charges Jan Vertonghen off the ball but his shot is weak. Moussa Sissoko, relentlessly booed by the away fans, then trips his man right on the edge of the area. Danger here...

  13. Postpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Man City 0-0 Brighton

Close - and it's at the other end this time. Anthony Knockaert plays a slick one-two and then hits a crisp shot on the run, about 25 yards out and about three yards wide. Pinged it though.

Every time Yaya Toure gets on the ball he's urged to shoooottttt!!!

  14. Postpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Spurs have a dangerous free-kick which Christian Eriksen puts into the mixer, it's flapped at by Martin Dubravka in the Newcastle net and he's a lucky man to see it ping away to relative safety.

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It's going to be a very long evening for Huddersfield and their fans. They have gone into the Chelsea half once and almost got into the box at one point.

  16. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Man City 0-0 Brighton

Great block! City put together a slick move which ends with Ilkay Gundogan about to slam into the net - but Shane Duffy takes it on the backside and it's away. Great defending from the Sean Dyche school of hard blocks.

Anon: I think I speak for all Arsenal fans when I say: AAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH The stupidest two minutes of defending I have ever seen. Clear it out the penalty area! Don't bring the last man down! Is this the under 8s? Actually, sorry, that's insulting to under 8s!

Ben: How is that a red card for Mavropanos? He is not the last man. Why is the ref ruining a game that has nothing riding on it and all it can potentially provide is entertainment?

  20. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 9 May 2018

    Chelsea 0-0 Huddersfield

As it stands Huddersfield are safe. They haven't had a shot, I'm not sure they've been in Chelsea's half but so far, so good.

N'Golo Kante goes on a wonderful jinking run past two men but he loses his grip at the vital time.
