He will have to sit in with Elneny, but he will play, he can passs the ball and will want to run the show.

Tarek Hamed loks in trouble here. He got a bang in the rib cage as he jumped with Giorgian De Arrascaeta, and cannot continue. Disappointment for him, but a great opportunity for the man coming on - Wigan's Wolverhampton-born midfielder Sam Morsy. He made only one appearance in qualifying, and here he is, playing at a World Cup.

Better from Uruguay. Much better. Edinson Cavani plays Luis Suarez in behind Ahmed Hegazi, it's set up from him to shoot - but goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy blocks with the foot. Good effort, fine stop.

Egypt midfielder Tarek Hamed the last player back on the pitch for the second half after that injury at the end of the first, but he's certainly able to carry on for now. Mohamed Salah remains on the bench.
