    Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I am just wondering when Saudi Arabia are going to go for this? Is the manager going to make changes? They have looked dangerous at times, but it's always in front of the Uruguay defenders. I think we need to see a few changes to freshen things up.

    Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC One

I think Saudi Arabia will be happy going into the last 20 minutes only one goal down. It only takes one moment, one Uruguayan mistake, and they're back in it. Uruguay don't look like scoring, and that should give Saudi Arabia a lot of confidence.

Steven Jerjian: Despite having two of the world's best players in Suarez and Ronaldo, I'm hoping we won't see Uruguay vs. Portugal in the last 16. Dour stuff.

Iain McDonald: Suarez lacks bite in front of goal.

What do you mean, Iain? I don't get it...

Milton Rumata: Does anyone know if Pepe's recovered from being savagely beaten to the ground in the earlier game? I hope the scans looks positive and he can play some further part in the tournament. My thoughts are with him and his family at this difficult time.

  9. 'It's been a disappointing game'published at 17:27 British Summer Time 20 June 2018

    Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC One

It was a better ball in the box by Carlos Sanchez and Martin Caceres just beats his man to it, but he can't get his header on target. It's been a disappointing game, we expected Uruguay to be more of an attacking force.

It's tough work watching this Uruguay side. No wingers, no fluency, nothing coming from midfield. It's like watching Stoke with two world class strikers upfront. Good job Spain are playing tonight.

Brilliant work by Edinson Cavani - he had to wait four or five seconds until support arrived - but when it did he's whipped in a real good ball, and Carlos Sanchez just can't make the most of it.

There's only two Carlos Sanchez's...at this World Cup.

One for Uruguay today and the other who got sent off for Colombia on Tuesday.
