Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Not a vintage half. Not that Uruguay will care. They seem to be strolling into the knockout stages.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One
Uruguay aren't entertainers - you wouldn't get your popcorn out to watch them. They know if they can stay compact and don't concede - their two world-class strikers can get them a goal to win it.

Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live
Saudi Arabia are still in the game, they have not been blown away. They reacted well to going behind.
Uruguay are a goal ahead and are good for it.
HT: Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Didier Drogba
Phoenix Rising and former Ivory Coast striker on BBC One
Saudi Arabia have had a lot of possession and they look much more confident than they were in the first game against Russia. They've had a lot of possession but only two or three shots, which isn't really enough'

Lee Jack: How can a team (and this is isn't an isolated occurrence) with Cavani and Suarez up front, be so uninspiring? It's not like the rest of the team are mugs either.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Luis Suarez's goal the difference at the interval.

Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC One
After that change, Saudi Arabia have maintained their three men in midfield, where they have dominated possession.

Andy Davis: I watch Saudi football week in, week out, and they are so much better than this.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Game and it looks like tournament over for Saudi Arabia's Taiseer Aljassam.
He trots off the pitch and takes his place on the bench but there is no Saudi player ready to come on.
Oh dear.
Saudi Arabia have given a good account of themselves so far.
Here is one of their efforts from the first period...
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Think this is a hammy for Taiseer Aljassam.
He stretches to reach a ball he loses control of and goes down hold the back of his left leg.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia fans may well be worried. Their side have never won a World Cup game when they have conceded the first goal. When that's happened their record reads lost nine, drawn two.
Ouch.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC One
It's been similar as the first game from Uruguay for me - they've been pretty poor. They're dropping really, really deep.
I'd like to see a bit more ambition from them, I'd like to see them get better balls in to the strikers and then support them - because they're the ones who will win them games.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Luis Suarez is now the only Uruguayan in history to score at three World Cups.
The Barcelona man has also been involved in eight of his country's last 15 goals at the World Cup, scoring six and making two. He's somewhat key it seems.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Salem Aldawsari, 30 yards out, beats a Uruguay defender but then smashes a strike over the crossbar.
Ambitious to say the least.
Uruguay 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia lacking in quality at the back, in the middle and up top.
Mohammed Alburayk breaks from defence, but his cross from the right goes all the way across the pitch for a throw-in at the other end.
He would have scored much more spectacular goals in his 100 appearances but they all count.
