Nigeria have started well in the second half and Croatia haven't got going at all. It's been very sloppy by the Croatians so far and it's a good sign for Nigeria and their fans.

Croatia's lead is well deserved. Nigeria have just had their best spell of the match after conceding but I'm sure they will get a rollicking at half time. Croatia have been dominant and shown some lovely movement.

That is that.

Quite a tepid tone of a half that was punctured by the own goal scored by Oghenekaro Etebo.

Croatia look more likely to get a second than Nigeria are to get an equaliser.

The free-kick is cleared by Croatia but only to Arsenal's Alex Iwobi whose seemingly goalbound drive is blocked.

Modric, who I thought should have been taken off set-pieces, produces a beauty from the corner and it ends up in the net after a couple of touches. It's what the game needed because Nigeria have got to come out now, but Croatia won't want to rest on their laurels either and they will want another goal.
