    LONG THROW...

    Nowhere.

Lasse Schone spins a shot wide from 22 yards after Christian Eriksen gets on the ball for once, wide right this time.

Will we get one more chance?

Lee: Croatia have done this before having been impressive in the group stage then flattered to deceive in the knockout stage

Stew: I honestly can’t see any team on this side of the bracket being able to beat France, Brazil, Uruguay or Belgium in the final

Jodmos: Next goal will win this. (assuming there is one)

It's Croatia who are ending this match the stronger. Can they force a winner?

Shot deflects wide! The crowd make some noise for the first time in ages.

Better, ball in by another sub Josip Pjaca and Ivan Perisic floats a header on to the roof of the net. Very tough skill to score from there.

That World Cup knockout game where we bemoaned the lack of long throws. Mateo Kovacic is going to be OK, he hasn't dislocated that shoulder.

The biggest disappointment is that we're not even getting any long throws by Denmark, to create some excitement. It's a sad situation when that is what you are pleading for.

Croatian sub Mateo Kovacic hasn't been on long but he's landed really heavily on his shoulder and looks in a spot of bother.

Somebody at ITV Sport presumably had to pick this game to be televised. My deepest sympathies are with them right now.

IT MIGHT GET GOOD IN EXTRA TIME I SUPPOSE.

A lad in the crowd is playing on his phone. A waste of a ticket.

    But utterly understandable.

Barely believable stat - only one of the 22 crosses in this game have reached a teammate.

This is the World Cup. Not the JPT.

Luka Modric hits a shot well wide but at least Croatia were in the final third. Is this the kick for home? Another shot, Ante Rebic hits one on target from long range.

Playing for a draw in the knockout stage. Unforgivable stuff.

Croatia rested pretty much their whole team for the last group game and they look knackered. Let's hope England are a bit more lively on Tuesday night.

Finally a bit of excitement. Denmark are the better team at the moment and Jorgensen has a shot at goal, but it comes to nothing. Both sides look like they're playing for a draw and it looks like a stalemate. Somebody has to adapt and be a little bit braver.

Another shot, another poor shot as Christian Eriksen scuffs one wide from the D. But at least it was a shot.

Croatia are offering nothing at all. Weird performance.

Right, here we go, lift-off! Maybe.

Let's hope so. Good play from Yussuf Poulsen on the right, he tees up sub Nicolai Jorgensen and his shot is not brilliant but at least it forces Danijel Subasic into a save.

If these sides don't buck their ideas up I'm going to ask Pat Nevin to play us his Shoreditch DJ set instead of commentary of extra-time.

It's almost unfair that this comes 24 hours after France v Argentina. The flight home after your last big night out of a holiday.

Croatia send on Mateo Kovacic. DO SOMETHING.

Eriksen, Modric and Rakitic. In my opinion the three best central midfielders on the planet. On the same pitch, at the same time. This game shouldn't be as dull as it has been so far.

Jorgensen looks like a clone of Cornelius. Same height, same build and same blonde hair. Let's see if he can do a bit more?

Nothing has happened in this game since half time. Well, since the fourth minute to be honest.

You would not convert many non-football fans to the beauties of the World Cup today.
