That World Cup knockout game where we bemoaned the lack of long throws. Mateo Kovacic is going to be OK, he hasn't dislocated that shoulder.

The biggest disappointment is that we're not even getting any long throws by Denmark, to create some excitement. It's a sad situation when that is what you are pleading for.

Croatian sub Mateo Kovacic hasn't been on long but he's landed really heavily on his shoulder and looks in a spot of bother.

Somebody at ITV Sport presumably had to pick this game to be televised. My deepest sympathies are with them right now.

Luka Modric hits a shot well wide but at least Croatia were in the final third. Is this the kick for home? Another shot, Ante Rebic hits one on target from long range.

Playing for a draw in the knockout stage. Unforgivable stuff.

Croatia rested pretty much their whole team for the last group game and they look knackered. Let's hope England are a bit more lively on Tuesday night.

Finally a bit of excitement. Denmark are the better team at the moment and Jorgensen has a shot at goal, but it comes to nothing. Both sides look like they're playing for a draw and it looks like a stalemate. Somebody has to adapt and be a little bit braver.

Another shot, another poor shot as Christian Eriksen scuffs one wide from the D. But at least it was a shot.

Croatia are offering nothing at all. Weird performance.

Let's hope so. Good play from Yussuf Poulsen on the right, he tees up sub Nicolai Jorgensen and his shot is not brilliant but at least it forces Danijel Subasic into a save.

If these sides don't buck their ideas up I'm going to ask Pat Nevin to play us his Shoreditch DJ set instead of commentary of extra-time.

It's almost unfair that this comes 24 hours after France v Argentina. The flight home after your last big night out of a holiday.
