  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri shaking it up for Chelsea.

Off comes Ross Barkley, who performed well, and England international Ruben Loftus-Cheek trots on.

  2. Postpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Cardiff

    Asmir Begovic to the rescue!

Cardiff look for all the world like they are going to bundle the ball in through Sean Morrison's toe following an overhead kick in the box. But the Cherries keeper is there to block and divert the ball away.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:23 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

    End-to-end action at the Cottage.

Aleksandar Mitrovic's flicked header is gathered by Wayne Hennessey's full length save.

Still 25 minutes left, plenty of time for Fulham to grab an equaliser.

  4. Postpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Cardiff

Josh Murphy and Danny Ward are on for the Bluebirds. Two attacking subs. Callum Paterson and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing make way.

Murphy cost Cardiff £11m in the summer and was amongst the goals in pre-season.

  5. 'Sakho is late'published at 16:22 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

There is definitely contact. Andre Schurrle takes the pass and receives the ball, and Mamadou Sakho is late. I think that is a penalty.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:22 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

Bad miss, Crystal Palace should already be home with their feet up and the three points.

Wilfried Zaha, who was strongly linked with a move away in the transfer window, reacts to Christian Benteke's knockdown but his low shot from eight yards out is straight at the foot of Fulham goalkeeper Fabri.

  7. 'Sakho gets lucky'published at 16:20 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I think Mamadou Sakho was clumsy with his challenge on Andre Schurrle and Crystal Palace are quite lucky not to concede a penalty.

  8. Postpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Cardiff

David Brooks should have a debut goal. Ryan Fraser gets to the byline and fires over a cross that gives the winger an empty net to find but he is only able to put the ball back where it came from with his forehead. To be fair to him, the cross was fizzed his way.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

Shouts for a penalty at Craven Cottage as Andre Schurrle goes down under Mamadou Sakho's outstretched leg.

There looked to be a slight touch but referee Mike Dean is not interested.

  10. Postpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Cardiff

But wait. Maybe there is life in the Bluebirds. Junior Hoilett's low cross deflects to Callum Paterson but his effort inside the box is deflected over. The first corner is easily cleared but the visitors come again and force a second corner, which Steve Cook has to stand tall to head away. Better.

  11. Postpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

An hour gone and Chelsea's new midfield signing Jorginho has a 97.4% pass accuracy from 38 attempted.

  12. Postpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Cardiff

Cardiff are having to expend all their energy to keep Bournemouth at bay. That'd be fine if it was still 0-0. But the Bluebirds are going to have to find a goal here and at the moment they're struggling to even find a man in the opponent's half. No wonder Neil Warnock looks worried.

  13. Pereyra pivotalpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

  14. 'Pereyra looks so cultured'published at 16:15 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Watford 2-0 Brighton

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

Roberto Pereyra looks so cultured. Mat Ryan can't react to it in the Brighton goal because he drops the shoulder and and strikes it quickly.

  15. 'Concern for Fulham'published at 16:15 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Van Aanholt's shot is a good 20 yards out and the keeper still didn't have time to react properly. It shows you the incredible power he got behind that.

Concern for Fulham, they have been having a tough time in the last 10 minutes.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

And Chelsea do come close to a third goal of the afternoon.

Antonio Rudiger outmuscles a Huddersfield defender and forces Ben Hamer into a sprawling save.

German defender Rudiger flicks on the corner to the back post and wing-back Marcos Alonso acrobatically hooks a shot onto the crossbar.

  17. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea are coasting at the moment, they are not being troubled at the back by Huddersfield.

In fact, if there is a third goal in this game, it is likely to go to the Blues.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16:11 British Summer Time 11 August 2018

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

Palace should have finished Fulham off here.

Fabri pushes Patrick van Aanholt's shot back into the danger area but Christian Benteke is not sharp enough to finish the rebound.

    It's him again!

Roberto Pereyra bags his second and it is something of a gift from Brighton, who relinquish possession on their left, giving the Watford man all the space he needs to charge into the box at an angle and curl a neat shot past Mat Ryan.

John: Knockaert giving the ball away and throwing himself to the floor in the box. Surely one of Brighton's nine signings is better than him. Golden Boys looking good though. Very good.

Michael: Welcome to the premier league Maurizio Sarri. Here's some beginners luck to supplement your excessive spending spree. Seriously, take whatever you need to make up for that dismal style of play. Huddersfield by far the better team.

Jake: I've been really impressed with Gosling in this game. Funny looking fella though, almost looks photo shopped BOU/CAR
