By the letter of the law, Kenedy should be off the pitch. He is very lucky boy.

The corner is cleared before Kenedy - somewhat inexplicably - lashes out at Victor Camarasa by kicking him.

It happened right next to ref Craig Pawson, who seemed to be looking at something else at the time of the incident.

Young Kenedy is a very, very lucky man.

Newcastle are being given no room at all. Cardiff are swarming round them and giving them no time at all, but the question is, can they keep it up for the entire 90 minutes?

Cardiff look a completely different team with Kenneth Zohore up front. It has been a great start from Cardiff.

The pace has slowed down somewhat... at least you got a few minutes' entertainment.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez shows his disgust at the awarding of a throw-in to Cardiff when he thought it should have been Newcastle's - we're at that stage now.

Kyle: Good open start to the match. When Newcastle attack we look a threat and players like Ayoze Perez, Kenedy and Matt Ritchie can cause them problems. Newcastle are conceding too many set pieces though, and that's Cardiff's biggest threat.

Without question, the Cardiff City fans are doing all they can to match the decibel level reached at Molineux last weekend.

The atmosphere, at the moment, is topping the quality levels, though this contest is open and entertaining, perhaps more so than either manager would have liked.

Newcastle have had as many shots on target (two) in the opening 11 minutes against Cardiff as they did in the whole match against Tottenham.
