It's on the edge at West Ham but I think Manuel Pellegrini has a good five games before it turns.

I don't get why letting Cheikhou Kouyate go and bringing in Carlos Sanchez is an upgrade.

I'm not sure the Jack Wilshere and Mark Noble midfield partnership works because I'm not sure it's mobile enough.

Noble is West Ham through and through but I'm not sure he is going to be a Pellegrini man.

    Newcastle v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

    Simon Brotherton

Newcastle won the last meeting between the sides 2-1 at St James' Park in April, and the way Arsenal have started the season, you'd think the Magpies are likely to have some chances here.

The Gunners have conceded eight goals in four matches so far and were pegged back twice by newly promoted Cardiff last time out before winning 3-2.

The issue may be how adventurous Newcastle are after losing three games to 'top six' sides already this season, all by a 2-1 scoreline. Their record against Arsenal in recent years isn't great, having lost 10 league meetings in a row before April's success.

For some West Ham fans, it's not been much fun at London Stadium recently - but at least when the attendances were announced last season many were able to manage a wry smile.

It's a moment replicated in football stadiums across the country as fans hear the attendance, look at the number of empty seats and ask: 'Really?'

Last season, Arsenal were under scrutiny as supporters appeared to stay away from Emirates Stadium during manager Arsene Wenger's final season. Even pundits joked , externalabout the club's official near-capacity attendance compared with the gaps clearly visible in the stadium.

But they aren't the only Premier League club where official attendances appeared inaccurate.

Former West Ham defender James Collins, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "If I'm brutally honest I fear for West Ham a little bit. My biggest fear is that it will get worse before it gets better.

"I worry about the characters in the dressing room. You have a core of British lads but when the going gets really tough who will bring them together?

"If you run around and show willing and heart for the shirt, West Ham fans will back you to the hilt."

    Tottenham v Liverpool (12:30 BST)

Tottenham and Liverpool meet shortly in a game between two of the Premier League's expected title challengers.

Spurs made no new signings during the summer, while Liverpool added four players, including goalkeeper Alisson for a reported £66.8m.

But would any of those new signings get into your combined XI from both squads?

Watford v Man Utd (17:30 BST)

    Steve Bower
Match of the Day commentator at Vicarage Road

Jose Mourinho didn't need to witness Watford's remarkable start to make him aware of the potential pitfalls of a trip to Vicarage Road.

His Manchester United team were shocked and outfought there in his first season at the club and the current Hornets side are arguably more dangerous given their current levels of confidence.

He will have watched Tottenham's recent defeat there with interest and will have been left in no doubt of the standards required if they are to build on their victory at Burnley a fortnight ago and inflict only a second home league defeat on Javier Gracia since he arrived at Watford.

What have we learned from the opening weeks of the Premier League campaign?

While it is still early days, there are signs that Harry Kane's game is evolving, Mohamed Salah is still searching for his scintillating 2017-18 form and the promoted sides are living up to pre-season expectations.

  12. Stinging start from the Hornetspublished at 10:06 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

When I say the top six are in action, I'm obviously including Bournemouth and Watford...

The two sides have started well but the Hornets are up against Jose Mourinho's men this evening in the late kick-off.

Watford have yet to drop any points - something only Liverpool and Chelsea can match. But of those teams currently in the top four, only three are likely to remain there at the end of the season.
