Great run from Seamus Coleman but he will disappointed he was leaning back. He made good contact with the ball but he's got to hit the target after a good pass and move.

Fred is urged to shoot by the Stretford End as he lines up 30 yards from goal, but he checks back out to Luke Shaw instead.

Romelu Lukaku's first meaningful touch is a good one on halfway, freeing Anthony Martial down the left. He eats up the ground but can only find Fred, whose shot is blocked.

Everton then counter, Seamus Coleman is in behind but shoots over!

Jose Mourinho's name was being sung by the United fans in the 'singing section' at Old Trafford today.

There have been at least three occasions this season when it appeared Mourinho was on very thin ice as far as his position as manager was concerned.

But the matchgoing fans have never wavered.

Mind you. Next three games are Bournemouth, Juventus and Manchester City. All away.

Juan Mata knits the play together well for United, he impressed at Chelsea and he has done so again this afternoon. Lucas Digne handles a cross but they settle for a corner which is cleared away.

Sho: Rashford unfortunately hasn't taken his opportunity today as the main striker. Bit of a so-so performance.

Lamide: To be honest, Rashford has been awful upfront... Guess we're stuck Lukaku. Hope he eventually comes good, Lukaku

No signs of settling for this from Everton, credit where it's due they are having a strong little spell. Andre Gomes dribbles with purpose and finds Seamus Coleman on the overlap, his cross is back to Gomes, who heads more up than at goal, but it's another save David de Gea has to make.

Everton free-kick, wide right. Gylfi Sigurdsson's ball in is a good one but the ref gives a foul.

Here comes Romelu Lukaku, booed on by the away end as he replaces Marcus Rashford. Point to prove?

KN: Impressed with Fred today. He’s been lively, energetic and offered options with his runs.

Into the final third of this game, and it's looking like a comfortable home win now. That second, fine, goal from Anthony Martial has done the business.

That's the best of the bunch! Manchester United having a really good spell now as Juan Mata finds Paul Pogba arriving inside the area, his touch is true, he laces in a low drive and Jordan Pickford makes a realy good low save.

Manchester United have now scored 100 Premier League goals against Everton; only the second team to score 100+ goals against a single opponent in the competition (Arsenal: 107 v Everton).

Lucas Digne put in a testing cross but again there's no movement in the middle. Perhaps the striker Everton could have done with is sitting on United's bench?

Bernard should have hit it earlier, because he stutters, gives the defender a chance and goes wider with the angle. He took too long to hit it and hit the side netting. A blow as Everton would have been right back in the game.
