I spoke to Adam Lallana recently, he has been having some issues with his diet, trying to find the best way to get fit. He feels he is at a good point.

He is a big player. A couple of years ago he was Liverpool's Player of the Year and England's Player of the Year. If he can get a run of games together he can have a big impact in this title race.

Adama Traore knocks the ball forward on the right wing and challenges Virgil van Dijk to a 100m sprint. There's no way he's winning it though, as van Dijk canters in front and uses his body to shield the ball before passing it back to Alisson.

What a cool dude.

Adam Lallana comes on for Naby Keita.

Willy Boly shows composure as he's pressed by Mohamed Salah. The Wolves defender twists and turns, losing the Egyptian, before attempting an audacious diagonal ball which skips out for a goalkick.

Meanwhile, Naby Keita has gone down to the turf holding his lower back. Adam Lallana is getting ready to come on.

Mohamed Salah pushes it towards Sadio Mane in the box. The forward has two Wolves' defenders on his back so he lays it off for James Milner, who is coming in from the right, on the edge of the box.

Milner attempts to curl it into the far corner but gets it all wrong and it's flown somewhere into the home stand.

Naby Keita's shot from the edge of the box is deflected and it's looping as Rui Patricio comes out to gather it in.

The keeper is under pressure from Mohamed Salah though and he fumbles it - pushing it onto the back of a teammate - before it bounces harmlessly away from Salah.

Bit of a calamity moment from the keeper but no severe consequences!

Liverpool seeing more of the ball but the battle is going ahead in midfield.

James Milner's corner comes to Mohamed Salah on the edge of the box but his shot flies over the crossbar.

Naby Keita brings the ball down brilliantly on the left then flicks it over the head of a defender before calmly passing it off to a teammate. Oozes class.

Liverpool then attack down the right through Sadio Mane - who wins a corner off Ryan Bennett.

Romain Saiss immediately gives the ball away in midfield but Sadio Mane's way is blocked by Willy Boly.

Changes coming soon? Naby Keita has struggled a little bit playing in an unfamiliar position out on the left for Liverpool.

Xherdan Shaqiri is the obvious replacement and following his two goals against Manchester United on Sunday, he's bang in form.

Roberto Firmino was a busy man in that first half (as you can see by his touchmap below). Liverpool's front three look lively - creating chances and linking up through the middle.

But there's not quite a ruthless edge just yet. Liverpool will want to build on their advantage after the break.

An intriguing match so far. Wolves are still in this.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah pick straight through Wolves' defence with a few nice flicks, a bit of pace and some darting runs.

Naby Keita sort of spoils the move in the end with a sloppy pass on the left wing.

Wolves started the game superbly, then they concede the goal and the belief goes down, but they have come back into it and the Wolves fans have been fantastic, really behind their team.
