Fabinho was calm and it was a lovely one-two with Mane, but what a touch from Salah, that's the danger Liverpool possess. Do Wolves deserve that? Probably not.

Mohamed Salah tries to weave his way through a sea of bodies in the Wolves box but there's no way through.

Matt Doherty then blocks Naby Keita's run and gives away a needless free-kick on the left-hand side.

Liverpool are looking a bit ropey. Conor Coady sends a long ball forward to Matt Doherty. He slips it through for Romain Saiss, who has space to shoot in the box.

He gets plenty of power on it and it takes a deflection - which almost beats Alisson! The keeper just about palms it away and Fabinho has to hastily hook it clear.

James Milner's corner comes all the way through to Virgil van Dijk on the far side of the box. The defender is quickly closed down but he shows composure to jinx out of the way of a sliding tackle before his shot is blocked.

Roberto Firmino looks lively. His quick feet earns him space on the edge of the box but his shot is deflected out for a corner.

Despite the incessant rain, both managers are standing at the front of their technical areas. Klopp has his black anorak hook over the top of his baseball cap. Nuno has no head gear - the rain bouncing off his pate. Lively start - noisy atmosphere - great to be here.

Wolves have an opportunity to counter-attack as Liverpool protest a tackle by Conor Coady on Naby Keita.

The hosts have numbers in attack but can't find a breakthrough and Liverpool get it clear. A quick one-two by Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino is then snuffed out and again Wolves counter.

Adama Traore's shot from the right-hand side of the box is scuffed slightly and it dribbles wide of Alisson's far post.

James Milner tries to thread it through for Mohamed Salah down the right but the ball lacks pace - probably effected by the wet and soggy surface - and Willy Boly gets there first.

The Wolves defender miscontrols it and Liverpool win a throw-in.

Virgil van Dijk wins the header and Fabinho reaches the ball first as Liverpool smartly claim possession back in defence and build-up down the left through Andy Robertson.

Wolves are pressing high though, and van Dijk is forced to play it back to goalkeeper Alisson and recycle it.

Fabinho gives the ball away on the edge of his box as he's far too casual in possession. It falls to Adama Traore but his shot flies inches wide of the right post and bounces back into the netting.

Wow. Nervy moment for Liverpool then!

Imraan: Wolves are this season's BIG TEAM specialists - expecting them to bite Liverpool tonight.

Alexander Skulnick: I love watching Wolves this season, they look like a proper team. Having said that Liverpool are insane so they'll batter them.

Richard Browne: Best left back vs best right; Robbo vs Doherty should be very interesting.

Mohamed Salah leaves it for Roberto Firmino on the edge of the box and the Brazilian's quick feet takes him past two players before his shot is blocked.

Liverpool retain the ball on the left wing.

Romain Saiss pokes the ball forward for Raul Jimenez to chase down the left wing but it's too heavy and rolls out of play.

The hosts are winning quite a few 50-50 balls at the moment.

You wonder if he has put on Adama Traore to stretch Liverpool's defence. He is a danger because he is very quick and even he does not know what he is going to do.

I see this as a banana skin for Liverpool. Mentally they have to be right. They will know it is going to be tough and will have to do their jobs.

Glastonbury is over it seems. The players are walking out of the tunnel so we will be watching a football match after all.
