Shane: Just waiting for the disallowed goal excuses to come flooding in.
Garett: Twice in the space of 5 minutes, Mo Salah cut into the middle and gave away possession cheaply with a poor pass. It cost him the second time.
Paul: P-S-Jammy. Never seen a more undeserved goal. Is Klopp big enough to drop Salah if he keeps under performing?
Liverpool 2-2 PSG
In contrast, Liverpool have had plenty of efforts, the latest of which - a free-kick from 20 yards - goes just wide via Trent Alexander-Arnold's effort and a deflection.
Liverpool 2-2 PSG
PSG's goal came from their only shot at goal in this half.
Liverpool 2-2 PSG
Mo Salah's last act is to gift PSG the possession that led to the goal. He is replaced by Xherdan Shaqiri.

Anfield not the only place with late drama.

Mo Salah is the victim tonight and he misplaces a pass when Liverpool had a great chance to break, but Kylian Mbappe does what Kylian Mbappe does and he punishes Liverpool.
PSG have stuck to their task all night and they know they have the fire power up front.
Kylian Mbappe
Can you believe it?!
PSG do it again with a goal completely against the run of play. However, Liverpool only have themselves to blame. Mo Salah has chance to break but gives the ball away in incredibly sloppy fashion in the middle of the pitch. Forward comes Neymar, who finds Mbappe and he makes no mistake with a lashed shot into the bottom corner.
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Oh, so close!
Sadio Mane nips in down the right touchline, chipping the ball over one man before firing his low shot from an angle across the face of goal.
Would a pull-back have been the better option?
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Oh yeah, Angel di Maria is playing in this game. Well, he's not anymore. He sneaks off for an unnecessary shower to be replaced by a familiar face - former Stoke man Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Sadio Mane is just offside from Mo Salah's pass. Oh wait, is he? Maybe just. Tight call, though. He was through on goal otherwise.
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Liverpool still snapping at heels, chasing, hungry. PSG looking for inspiration from somewhere, anyway. They don't look particularly urgent as they stroke the ball from right to left. Back to the keeper they go. Poor stuff.

Amrul: PSG walk the French league yet look out of their depth in the CL. Surely it's these games they are judged on.
Ian: On this performance PSG are very average. If they keep playing like this in the Champions League then their current manager won’t be in charge when Liverpool go to Paris.
Jaylock: Are Mbappe and Neymar still playing this game cause I think Robertson has hid them.

Daniel Sturridge has repaid Jurgen Klopp's faith but now we will see a different type of press by Liverpool. Will that go against PSG?
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Considering the front three PSG possess it is a tad embarrassing how little impact they have made in the Liverpool half since the break.
Neymar has done nothing this half.
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Chance! The initial corner is cleared but swung back in for Van Dijk to cushion a header to Salah, who curls a shot wide.
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
Between two home corners, Sturridge departs to a standing ovation. On comes Firmino. His 150th Liverpool appearance, this.
Liverpool 2-1 PSG
What have PSG got in the locker to change the outcome of this game? On the evidence of 95% of this game, not a lot. But that 5%, when they can do something special in a heartbeat, is the bit Liverpool need to guard against.
Looks like we're about to see Bobby Firmino.
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield
PSG are having occasional periods of possession but where is the threat this side should be posing?
Liverpool deserve credit but so far this has all been very pedestrian from a side containing the like of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani.

Ricky: Sturridge lucky not to see red, over the top with studs and straight to the crown jewels
Mark: That is the definition of an over the ball tackle
Salman: Klopp needs to make a substitution I reckon. Bring on Keita as our midfield three may be getting tired.
