    Leeds 0-1 Brentford

    So close again for Leeds.

Lewis Baker, with his first touch since coming on, curls the free kick just wide of the near post.

Luke Daniels would have been beaten if it was on target.

    Leeds 0-1 Brentford

    It's getting tasty now.

Brentford forced to defend desperately after a ball into the box and there's a foul on the edge of the box.

There's a free kick in a very dangerous area for Leeds as Lewis Baker comes on.

Meanwhile, Brentford bring on Said Benrahma and Yoann Barbet for Sergi Canos and Moses Odubajo.

  3. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Brentford

    Leeds really taking control here.

Brentford full-back Moses Odubajo, already on a yellow, gets away with a bad challenge on Jack Clarke.

Leeds fans, and players, are not amused. He could easily be walking now.

Steve: Shocking pass from Liam Cooper led to the penalty but Watkins diving over BPF before any contact made.

Jamie Brilley: Watkins already on the the way to the floor when BPF touches him. Leeds can't get a break from the man in the middle.

  5. Postpublished at 69 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Brentford

Close again for the home side. Tyler Roberts wraps his foot around a cross from the right, but it just goes wide of the post from eight yards out.

Meanwhile Leeds take off Stuart Dallas and bring on young attacker Jack Clarke for his debut - no pressure kid......

  6. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Brentford

So close to an equaliser for Leeds.

The free kick is floated in, goalkeeper Luke Daniels is caught flapping and Liam Cooper's glanced header floats agonisingly wide of the far post.

  7. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Brentford

Ollie Watkins goes down just inside the box on the left byline.

It certainly wasn't a penalty, but he gets a barrage of abuse from the Leeds fans.

What can Leeds do now as Chris Mepham becomes the first Brentford man in the book for a foul on Tyler Roberts?

GOAL: Leeds 0-1 Brentfordpublished at 61 mins

    Neal Maupay (61 mins)

    Neal MaupayImage source, Rex Features

Neal Maupay is the calmest man in the ground.

The Championship's top scorer nonchalantly sidefoots the penalty into the bottom left corner as he gets his 10th goal of the season to put Brentford in front against the league leaders.

The Leeds fans chant "1-0 to the referee".

  10. Penalty to Brentfordpublished at 60 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

Brentford get a penalty. Ollie Watkins fouled in the box by Leeds keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who is booked.

Watkins tried to lift the ball over Peacock-Farrell, who came sliding in to connect with the Bees forward - who, it has to be said, looked to be on his way down before the keeper got to him.

Once Watkins' effort on goal had been cleared by a Leeds defender, the referee blew for the spot-kick.

  11. Leeds hit the postpublished at 56 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

What a chance for Leeds. A great save from Luke Daniels as he tips an effort from Kalvin Phillips onto the post and Brentford clear.

It came after Leeds' first corner of the day was put into the box and fell to Phillips inside the six-yard box.

  12. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

Brentford's defence do really well to step up and play Jack Harrison offside.

Leeds had gone through some lovely build up play before releasing the forward.

James Levy: This is one of those games where it’s likely to be first goal wins. You sense if Brentford score they’ll shut up shop and it will end 1-0, whereas if Leeds do, it could be two or three if Brentford start to chase an equaliser. Of course, I’m a Leeds fan so that’s unbiased...

Sergi Canos has an effort blocked on the edge of the Leeds box after a nice through ball.

It's been a decent start to this second half.

We are also told that Mateusz Klich's contact lens issues have been solved - the wind to blame for the Leeds midfielder being unable to have his vision fixed during the first half apparently....

  15. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

Bees keeper Luke Daniels gets away with one - he flaps at a high ball into the box, but the referee had already blown for offside.

  16. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

After a long wait Ollie Watkins puts the free kick over.

He tried to get it up and down and be precise, but he was a bit too close.

  17. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

A defensive mix up sees Brentford break and Sergi Canos is brought down by Pontus Jansson right on the edge of the area.

Jansson goes in the book, as does Luke Ayling for complaining.

Nick Bruzon: Very happy with that first half from Brentford. And we’ve still got Benrahma to come. If anything, disappointed not to be going in ahead.

Jamie Keen: Brentford looking really good. An uncharacteristic off day for Sawyers and Maupay though. Think they've got plenty more to give in the second half.

Still 45 minutes to go at Elland Road and a full fixture programme across the EFL. Get in touch today using #bbcefl on social media.

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Aston Villa is a big job and I can see why people would want to jump ship. If you get it right at a big club, it's brilliant.

If it doesn't work out, where does he go? Back to League One or League Two and start again?

He's done a marvellous job at Brentford and if you look at it at this moment in time, they've probably got a better chance of going up than Aston Villa.
