The two changes didn't help United.
There was a 20-minute period in the second half and United didn't touch the ball and Alexis Sanchez definitely didn't.
He's not the Alexis Sanchez we fell in love with at Arsenal. He needs a 10 or 15-game run in the team without being brought off to build his form.
Sanchez's form has dipped so much that at the moment you look at subs to come on and make an impact, he's not the one.
I don't think he's gone, I think he might have to re-adapt his game. I think it's confidence. He needs some love and he's the one Ole has to work on.
If Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are maybe out, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to get Sanchez back in to form.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand speaking about Paul Pogba's display on BT Sport: "That's a sign of how far he's come in the last couple of months. He was man-marked by Marquinhos and didn't deal with it today."

It is a good job that PSG are susceptible to giving away second leg games by quite some margin. United could do a Barcelona to them?

I did not know this about Marco Verratti...

There shouldn't be an over-reaction, there has to be some realism on where this group of players are at.
We said before the game that this result wouldn't define Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. These players are not at the level of the top European teams.
How many players would get into this PSG team? Maybe two? Paul Pogba and David de Gea.

Roma 2-1 Porto
Roma captain Daniele de Rossi: “I would’ve been happy if someone had told me before the game that we’d win 2-1. It’s not the best result, it changes a lot from 2-0, so let’s say we have the advantage 51-49.
“We had studied Porto and knew they were a bit more physical, less focused on passing than under previous coaches. They are quite different to most Portuguese clubs too, but we knew they played this type of football and Ivan Marcano had warned us they were a very different side now.”

Manchester United had 10 efforts on goal tonight but only one was on target - and that was a cross/shot from the right which Gigi Buffon did well to beat clear in the eighth minute.
Man Utd 0-2 PSG
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport: "This is a reality check for this United team. It's not a bad thing, it's something to learn from. In this tenure Ole Gunner Solskjaer has probably been preparing for this loss.
"But tonight they didn't show anything as an attacking force. They didn't get around players. This PSG team, without two of their best attacking players, coasted."
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves on BT Sport: "Defensively they were magnificent. Midfielder Marquinhos was the best player on the pitch - keeper Gigi Buffon didn't really have to make a save."

Been a rude awakening tonight, beaten by the better team. It's how we react to this now which will determine if Ole gets the job.

Before everyone gets carried away... yes, Utd were a bit limp tonight but we were beaten by two quick well taken goals! PSG were not as amazing as the pundits are saying! Utd deserved to lose but not the way the scoreline suggests!
Michael
Well everything that could go wrong for United has tonight, lose two of their front three, Pogba sent off, so no chance of a late goal. Ref useless. PSG gifted it tonight. Key injuries are gut-wrenching with big games coming up.

It is a real mountain to climb. It was a flat performance after a lot of people expected fireworks from a Manchester United team who have been in great form.
PSG were just better and in Kylian Mbappe and Angel di Maria they had the best players on the pitch.
And Paul Pogba's frustration took over in the end.

A mountain for United to climb in Paris.
Ole Gunner Solskjaer applauds the United fans who are still inside Old Trafford. That's a sobering evening for all concerned in red.
Thomas Tuchel slaps his defender Presnel Kimpembe across the chops. In celebration, I should clarify.
