Off tonight's showing, United did get outclassed.

Away from home without Paul Pogba and maybe also Anthony Martial. I don't know.

The referee's first yellow cards have been too fussy but the ones in the second half have been good.

I think the referee was the reason United couldn't get going in the first half as it was stop-start-stop-start.

Steve Jeffery: How poor has Alexis Sanchez been tonight. Up there with Di Maria and Falcao as United biggest flops of recent time

DeathApDisco: It's sad watching Sanchez. He looks like a 35 year old out there, spent force.

Neil Hawkins: Will there ever be a conversation about Utd and OGS that employs perspective? We had bad games under Fergie as well, every team does. No one expected this caretaker reign to be perfect...and it’s PSG, they’re not exactly a bad team

What's the reverse of the icing on the cake?

Referee Daniele Orsato has been dishing out bookings like they are going out of fashion and Paul Pogba is off!

It's not a clever challenge, high and late and he's shown a second yellow. He doesn't want to go but off he trudges, down the tunnel.

He'll miss the second leg. And they've sold Fellaini...

Think about his delivery from the first goal and then to Mbappe for the second

We didn't see this type of performance from Angel di Maria under Louis van Gaal when he had the red shirt of Manchester United on.

He's definitely had a happy return to Old Trafford. He's been brilliant tonight.

Yet another booking, Ander Herrera this time. Sir Alex and Sir Bobby look on, a touch forlorn to be honest. This has been PSG without two of their best three players, remember.

Paul Scholes has got his managerial career off to a winning start as his Oldham side recorded an impressive 4-1 victory over Yeovil.

Jose Baxter and Callum Lang scored either side of half-time before strikes from Mohamed Maouche and Christopher Missilou sealed an impressive win.

That victory sees Oldham move from 14th to 11th in the table - they are now only six points off the play-off places.

Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard going off has taken the sting out of Manchester United tonight.

It's going to be difficult needing three goals to go through but a goal here and then an away goal would do it [to give them hope].

A big away goal in the tie! And nice to see a goal like this in the Champions League as a player goes for a shot from the edge of the area, completely miscues it straight up in the air, a complete shank. It turns into an assist as the ball pops up for Adrian Lopez to side-foot into the net. Game on.
